Provisions for the safe use of liquefied gas tanks

Before using liquefied gas, you must carefully check whether all pipelines, joints and valves connected to liquefied gas bottles are in good condition. Rubber hoses used in liquefied appliances are required to be replaced once every six months. It is strictly forbidden to connect liquefied gas tanks with gas appliances or gas supply systems by hoses, but by hard pipes. It is forbidden to forcibly switch the angle valve of liquefied gas cylinders in any way

1. Safety precautions before using liquefied gas tanks

1. Check the necessary signs and logos of liquefied gas tanks. That is, qualified liquefied gas tanks with warning labels should be used. Otherwise, it shall not be used. According to the provisions of relevant laws and regulations:

(1) New liquefied gas tank: it must be a steel cylinder produced by a manufacturer with gas cylinder manufacturing qualification, with the manufacturer's license code and factory date stamped on the protective cover of the steel cylinder, and with the sign of factory supervision and inspection by the local quality inspection department (CS). Only cylinders that meet the above conditions can be purchased and put into use.

(2) Liquefied gas tanks that have been put into use: cylinders with no potential safety hazards can be put into use only if they pass the regular inspection according to the relevant national regulations within the specified service life (the service life of liquefied gas tanks is 15 years) and within the specified inspection period (once every four years).

(3) Qualified liquefied gas tank: the qualified mark is the inspection mark ring on the angle valve of liquefied gas tank, which indicates the inspection time and the next inspection time, and can be used during this period.

2. Carry out safety inspection on liquefied gas tanks. That is, it is necessary to check whether the shield of liquefied gas tank is loose or falls off, whether the base falls off, whether the bottle body is deformed or other defects that affect its upright position, whether the bottle valve, pressure reducing valve, rubber hose and stove rotary core valve are leaking, whether the tank body is welded and whether the steel seal or color mark of liquefied gas tank is changed. Do not use it if one of the above conditions exists.

3. Check the safety environment of using liquefied gas tanks. That is, liquefied gas tanks should not be placed in the basement, and should not be close to open flames, power supplies and other heat sources, such as heating packages, firesides and around fire walls; The distance between liquefied gas tank and cooker shall not be less than 1.5m, and the room shall be ventilated; Liquefied gas tanks cannot be directly exposed to the sun for a long time, especially in summer.

4. Check the source of liquefied gas tank. That is to say, the liquefied gas tank to be used must be provided by the bottled gas business department with the Gas Business License or the liquefied petroleum gas filling unit with the Gas Cylinder Filling License.

Second, safety precautions when using liquefied gas tanks

1. When igniting, the gas should be "equal to the fire", that is, the gas should be ignited first and then opened; When flameout, close the bottle valve first and then the stove valve.

2. When boiling water for cooking, it should be watched by special personnel to prevent water from overflowing to put out the fire, and liquefied gas leaks.

3. Don't shake, dump or smash the liquefied gas tank forcibly, and don't turn the liquefied gas tank upside down, lie flat or heat it when the liquefied gas will run out, otherwise it will easily explode.

3. Safety precautions when finding the leakage of liquefied gas tank

1. When finding the leakage, don't panic. Cut off the gas source immediately and quickly close the upstream valve of the pipeline and the angle valve of the steel cylinder.

2. Open the doors and windows quickly, keep good ventilation, and let the liquefied petroleum gas be distributed to the outside.

3, it is forbidden to switch any electrical appliances and use the indoor telephone, put out all open flames.

4. Check the leakage point with soapy water. Cover it with a wet towel if it is found. If you can't handle it yourself, you should call the professionals of the gas supply unit outdoors to handle it.

5. When you find the leakage of liquefied petroleum gas from your neighbor's house, you should knock at the door to inform you, and don't use the doorbell.

Legal basis: Safety Management System for Liquefied Gas Tanks

Article 1 Liquefied gas and gas equipment and pipelines must be operated in strict accordance with the operating rules, and it is absolutely not allowed to operate over temperature, pressure, overload or overload.

Article 2 The filling coefficient of liquefied gas tank trucks, steel cylinders and storage tanks shall not exceed 81% of their volume (imported spherical tanks shall be filled according to the design value). The temperature limit of liquefied gas entering the storage tank shall ensure that its vapor pressure does not exceed the allowable operating pressure of the storage tank. When the ambient temperature is higher than 31℃, spray water should be used to cool the open-air storage tank without heat preservation.

article 31 the liquefied gas and gas equipment and pipelines shall be inspected and monitored according to the specified requirements, and reliable measures shall be taken in case of hidden dangers, and rectification shall be carried out in combination with annual overhaul or routine maintenance. When the development of hidden dangers threatens safety in production, it should be stopped immediately.
