The Revolution of 1911 refers to the bourgeois-democratic revolution that broke out in China in 1911 (the third year of the Qing Dynasty). It happened on the basis of the increasingly decadent Qing dynasty, the further deepening of imperialist aggression and the initial growth of Chinese national capitalism. Its purpose is to overthrow the autocratic rule of the Qing Dynasty, save the nation from peril and strive for national independence, democracy and prosperity. This revolution ended China's autocratic monarchy for two thousand years, and it was a great revolutionary movement. The Revolution of 1911 was a bourgeois democratic revolution in modern China. Politically and ideologically, it has brought an inestimable liberation to the people of China. The revolution has made the concept of democracy and harmony deeply rooted in people's hearts. The anti-imperialist and anti-feudal struggle, taking the Revolution of 1911 as a new starting point, was carried out in a deeper and larger scale.
The methods used by imperialists to strangle the Revolution of 1911 are different from those used by them to strangle the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Revolution and the Boxer Movement. Although they did not take direct action of large-scale armed intervention, they actively carried out intervention and sabotage activities under the guise of so-called "neutrality", which was very cunning, insidious and diabolical. After the outbreak of the revolution, their first consideration was to use Yuan Shikai to continue to suppress and destroy the revolution in order to promote the rule of the Qing government. When the flame of the revolution burned the whole country, in order to preserve the feudal monarchy, a plot of "monarch * * * and constitutional state" was also made. When it was impossible to stop the people of China from establishing a * * * peace, Yuan Shikai was used to pretend to be a * * * peace instead of the Qing government, and the revolutionary side was coerced to accept the conditions of ceding power. As a result, a "false * * * and" Beiyang Army Yin reactionary regime appeared in China.
