After the case was handed over to the public security organs, the environmental food and drug investigation detachment of Xi Public Security Bureau immediately organized a special person to assist the above-mentioned sub-bureau in investigating the four enterprises involved. According to the investigation results and the provisions of the Public Security Punishment Law, Lintong Branch imposed administrative detention on Zhao, the head of Yaju Wooden Door Factory in Lintong District, and Jin Runtai Wood Processing Factory in Lintong District for seven days respectively. Chang 'an Branch gave administrative detention 10 to Feng, the person in charge of Bolong Decoration Material Factory in Chang 'an District, and imposed an administrative penalty of fine on 500 yuan; Lantian County Public Security Bureau gave Li, the person in charge of Shaanxi Huali Furniture Co., Ltd., administrative detention 10 and fined 500 yuan.
The relevant leaders of the Environmental Food and Drug Investigation Detachment of Xi Public Security Bureau said that they would continue to investigate these four cases together with the environmental protection department. Those suspected of environmental crimes shall be resolutely punished according to law.
