Employment direction of Japanese major
According to statistics, the employment ratio of Japanese professionals in various industries is: Japanese-funded enterprises account for 50%-60%; State organs (including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, governments at all levels, customs, foreign trade offices and trade promotion associations, etc.). ) accounts for about 20%; University teachers and Japanese tour guides each account for about 10%.
First of all, the number of Japanese companies has risen sharply.
China's good investment environment and huge market potential have created favorable conditions for the development of Japanese enterprises. In recent years, the number of Japanese-funded enterprises in Shanghai has greatly increased. According to the summary of 200 1 Japanese-funded enterprises in Shanghai, there are 6 17 representative offices of Japanese enterprises and institutions in Shanghai and 2,967 Japanese-funded enterprises. In 2005, the number of representative offices recorded in this journal has reached 1083, and the number of Japanese-funded enterprises is 3234. By the end of 2004, there were more than 4,300 Japanese companies and representative offices in Shanghai. There are more than 7,000 Japanese-funded enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta, including Shanghai.
As the number of Japanese enterprises increases, the labor force absorbed naturally increases. According to estimates, Japanese-funded enterprises in China directly and indirectly absorbed 9.2 million people.
Second, Japanese companies have a strong demand for talents?
We learned from Shanghai Sōka Gakkai Talent Service Co., Ltd., a professional Japanese talent service organization, that in the first four months of this year, there was a strong demand for Japanese-funded enterprises to recruit, and more than 400 positions were entrusted every month. Compared with the same period last year, the proportion of Japanese headhunters has increased, which shows that some high-end positions are beckoning to local talents. According to Zheng Jun, chairman of Shanghai Sōka Gakkai, Japanese companies have great demand for talents in the fields of fast-moving consumer goods, manufacturing, finance and trading companies. As some Japanese financial and insurance companies have entered Shanghai, the demand for some financial work has also increased. In addition, IT companies have a great demand for software personnel, especially software engineers who know Japanese, so many companies have to entrust training institutions for training.
Third, Japanese is the entry threshold.
Being able to speak Japanese is a big advantage for Japanese companies. It is relatively easy for Japanese professionals to find jobs, and they can generally be recommended by talent agencies at least three times. At present, there are only a dozen universities offering Japanese majors in Shanghai, and the total number of students trained is only a few hundred, which is difficult to meet the demand of Japanese-funded enterprises for Japanese talents. Of course, knowing Japanese is not enough. If you apply for a senior position, you need to have many qualities. It is generally believed that the wages of Japanese-funded enterprises are lower than those of European and American enterprises, which is not the case. Sōka Gakkai once made an incomplete survey on the salary of Japanese-funded enterprises, and found that the starting salary of Japanese majors is generally around 3,000 yuan, which is higher than that of students in other languages. Moreover, this gap will widen with the increase of working hours, and the minimum gap is above 1000 yuan.
