In terms of old age allowance, 26 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) such as Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Guangdong, Hainan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia and Xinjiang have been introduced.
In terms of subsidies for old-age services, 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Shandong, Henan, Hunan, Guangdong, Hainan, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Tibet, Qinghai and Xinjiang have introduced relevant subsidy policies.
In terms of nursing subsidies, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Henan, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Tibet, Xinjiang and other provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) have introduced relevant subsidy policies.
These policies are of great significance for improving the welfare system for the elderly, ensuring the funds for old-age services and improving the quality of life of the elderly. All localities should earnestly learn from the practices of these areas, take inclusiveness, equalization and sustainability as the direction, accelerate the establishment of these systems for benefiting the people, and strive to achieve full coverage at the provincial level during the 13 th Five-Year Plan period. In areas where relevant subsidy policies have not yet been introduced, it is necessary to speed up the work progress and introduce policies as soon as possible in light of local conditions. In areas where relevant subsidy policies have been introduced, it is necessary to do a good job in the evaluation of the elderly, gradually improve the subsidy standards and coverage, and effectively enhance the sense of acquisition of the elderly. The establishment and improvement of subsidy policies and suggestions on related work in various places should be reported to the Social Welfare and Philanthropy Promotion Department of our Ministry in a timely manner.
