What are some of the best food options at Shanghai Disney?

Delicious and festive cuisine is an essential part of celebrating the Chinese New Year. Whether it's a Lunar New Year reunion dinner or a favorite traditional snack, Shanghai Disneyland is filled with delicious and tantalizing treats. There's the Barboza Grill at Treasure Bay, Tribal Bounty at Adventure Island, and the Moon and Moon Eatery at the Whimsical Gardens. There are also many delicious snacks on Mickey Street.

"Mi Chef Bakery" New Year's hot beverages sell especially hot, banana milk, sea salt chocolate, thick milk cover decorated with Mickey-shaped chocolate chips and full of marshmallows, winter hot to take a mouthful of how enjoyable, special New Year's cup holders can be purchased as an additional purchase and to take home. You can also buy special New Year's cup holders and take them home. With some freshly baked snacks, it's a great place for afternoon tea.

We also enjoyed the New Year's menu in the Royal Ballroom in the Fairytale Castle.

The set menu for two included two glasses of sparkling wine, and the seafood bouillabaisse with crabmeat and scallop in a golden broth was deliciously mellow, and actually featured a masterful cut of Bunshi tofu!

The Mickey-shaped mouth-watering chicken jelly was quite creative, a perfect fusion of French techniques and Sichuan flavors. In addition to abalone, chestnuts, a seasonal ingredient in fall and winter, are also cleverly added to the Cendrillera Pumpkin with Braised Pork. Yaya's children's meal is even full of Mickey elements, the children surprised again and again.

During the meal, the lovely Disney friends warmly greeted everyone to take photos and record the unforgettable dining experience!

This time at the Shanghai Disney Resort, we stayed at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, which the whole family loves, across the lake from Shanghai Disneyland, with the fairytale world at our fingertips!

On entering the lobby of the hotel, you will see the classic red and yellow Mickey lanterns, the thriving holiday flowers embellished with a cheerful New Year's atmosphere. Smiling cast members guided us through the check-in process, and by the front desk, there were small sofas for kids to watch Disney animation so they could relax and wait.

The slightly retro-style room, with a headboard of Tinkerbell waving sparkling stars and fireworks with a magic wand in her hand, and the classic Mickey image reflected in the mirror, instantly transported us to the world of fairy tales. Bathrobes and slippers are prepared for children, and the bathtub is specially made lower for children to use.

We booked a garden view room, in addition to enjoy the hotel's garden views, but also see the Shanghai Disneyland, the night in the room can enjoy the most moving: "Light up the dream: night light illusion show"!

The hotel's Mickey's Kids Playroom, with its wealth of toys, games, puzzles and craft classes, was a delight for Yaya. By the way, the water temperature of the pool is 30 degrees, which is very comfortable in winter.

The New Year's bags I mentioned in the previous post are also available at the Shanghai Disneyland Hotel at the same price as in the park.

Hotel guests can take the free ferry to the park via Lake Wishing, and the free shuttle bus can easily get to Disney Town at any time, especially convenient.

A big reason to stay here is, of course, the chance to cuddle and take photos with your favorite Disney friends while enjoying a meal at Lumiere's Kitchen!

Lumiere's Kitchen is the hotel's buffet restaurant, where Disney friends are seen at breakfast and dinner. Smiling faces in the morning light bring a good mood all day long.

The dinner buffet is even more abundant, first of all, a cup of soup to warm up, and then try the unlimited length of the palm of the prawns, large abalone, snow crabs, fragrant fried steak and sausage can not help but have to come to a couple of pieces of turbot, have not eaten enough, there are also braised sea cucumbers, freshly baked PIZZA is of course, the children's must order.

Cute ice cream and desserts can not miss.

Other than that, the food at Disney Town is not to be missed, which brings together a large number of well-known dining brands such as Blue Frog, New Element, Little Southern, Cool Kitchen, and DONDONYA.

The dessert store's Chinese New Year-shaped treats are even more girly.

The Cheesecake Factory, a Netflix restaurant from the hit American TV show The Big Bang Theory, has also opened here!

Signature strawberry cake, red velvet cake, do not feel as sweet as in Dubai, perhaps for domestic guests to reduce the sweetness, the cake portion is still so full, enough for four people to eat. Meatballs and tomato spaghetti Yaya very much like, grilled pork chops with apple sauce caramelized juicy, with the grainy fried apple sauce sweet and sour just neutralize the grease of the pork chops, all of them were eaten up by us.

This was a great way to end our trip to Shanghai Disney Resort!
