Baoshan Vocational and Technical School is a secondary vocational and technical school sponsored by Baoshan District People's Government to train junior and intermediate technical personnel. The school consists of headquarters campus, Xingzhi campus, Aihui campus and Sanmen campus, covering an area of 67,562.63 square meters and a building area of 42,879.86 square meters. At the end of 2005, the total number of teaching and administrative staff was 254, including 65,438+04 senior teachers and 65,438+007 intermediate teachers.

At present, there are 24 training places in the campus, such as cooking, electric welding, electronic electrician, decoration design, beauty salon, automobile maintenance, air conditioning and refrigeration, and multifunctional training center. The total equipment value is 31388,000 yuan, which meets the internship needs of students of various majors. Among them, two training bases, automobile maintenance and air conditioning and refrigeration, have become the training bases and assessment centers of this major in northern Shanghai (the open training center under construction is more modern and advanced).

The principles of training room construction are: combining with hierarchical teaching, it can undertake the vocational skills teaching and assessment of junior workers, intermediate workers and senior workers; Combined with employment, the training room will be turned into a "simulation workshop" where students can practice and do "practical exercises" so that students can find jobs after graduation and quickly enter the role; Combining with the teaching reform, we should practice Tao Xingzhi's educational thought of "let students learn by doing" and put learning into the training room.

On June 5438+ 10, 2004, the school was formed by the merger of Xingzhi Vocational High School and Baoshan Vocational and Technical School (founded on June 5438+0989, formerly known as Songnan Middle School founded on September 1958). Xingzhi Vocational High School was merged in 2000 by Songnan Senior High School (founded in 1999), Aihui Vocational School (restructured from 1986 Aihui Middle School) and Sanmen Road Vocational School (restructured from 1985 Baoshan County Reform School). The main task of the school is to train junior and intermediate professional and technical personnel for the economic development and social progress in Baoshan District.

At present, there are 8 categories of manufacturing, transportation, information technology, business tourism, finance and economics, culture, art and sports, social affairs and comprehensive high schools, and 22 majors such as automobile operation and maintenance, numerical control technology application, modern logistics, computer, e-commerce and international business.

In the past ten years, * * * has trained more than 24,000 graduates. In recent years, the employment rate of middle school students has been stable at around 96%. In 2004, the admission rate of three students in college entrance examination was 95%, and in 2005, the comprehensive high school was 8 1.58%.
