As of December 2021, Peking University does not have a culinary program.

The culinary program has been offered in some colleges and universities in China. It cultivates advanced vocational and technical talents with proficient practical skills in culinary craftsmanship, broad theories of culinary science, and corresponding knowledge of food and beverage management and marketing business skills.

Can be engaged in large and medium-sized hotels and group catering department of technology and management, but also in the middle and higher culinary schools or related research departments engaged in teaching, research work.

Main courses of culinary majors in other colleges and universities:

Cooking raw materials, food hygiene and safety, culinary nutrition, Chinese diet and health care, cooking technology, pastry technology, Jiangsu famous dishes, Jiangsu famous dishes, Chinese famous dishes, the principles of management, food and beverage management and practice.
