What achievements did Emperor Gaozu make?
Liu Bang (BC 256~ BC 195) was a famous country, born in Pei County, surabaya county (now Pei County, Jiangsu Province), and was the founding emperor of the Western Han Dynasty. After the outbreak of the uprising in Daze Township, he led the uprising, named Pei Gong, and then defected to Xiang Liang, gradually becoming one of the main forces against Qin. In 207 BC, he led the army into Xianyang, and the Qin Dynasty perished. Later, he was named Hanwang by Xiang Yu, and launched a four-year battle between Chu and Han with Xiang Yu, eventually defeating Xiang Yu, pacifying the world and establishing the Han Dynasty. Luoyang, the capital of Luoyang, was first built, and soon moved to Chang 'an, known as the Western Han Dynasty. During Liu Bang's reign, he took important measures, such as reducing rent, paying five taxes, sharing interest with the people, and exempting corvee, which played an important role in stabilizing people's livelihood, restoring the broken social economy, and stabilizing the feudal ruling order. He also revised the Qin law, formulated nine chapters of the Han law, defined the algorithm, calendar and weights and measures, eliminated the princes with different surnames, and strengthened the unified centralized country. In BC 195, he was shot in the chest by an arrow when quelling the rebellion in Ying Bu, and died at the age of 53 after the trauma recurred. After his death, the temple was named Taizu and called Emperor Gao. Historically, it is customary to call him Emperor Gaozu.
