From 3500 BC to 3 100 BC, the development process of the two river basins from rural areas to cities was further accelerated. From 3 100 BC to 2800 BC, dozens of city-states have been formed in the southern part of the two river basins, that is, city-states with the same blood and region.
What language is Sumerian?
Sumerians invented a hieroglyph, which was later developed into cuneiform, which is the oldest known human script. Today, more than 654.38 million Sumerian objects have been excavated, most of which were carved on clay tablets. These include personal and business letters, remittances, cookbooks, encyclopedias, laws, hymns, prayers, spells and scientific articles including mathematics, astronomy and medicine.
Many large buildings and sculptures are also engraved with words. Many versions of articles are preserved because they are often copied. Copying was the only way for people to spread articles at that time. After Sumerians became the rulers of Mesopotamia, Sumerian remained the language of religion and law.
