There are five canteens in the main campus of Xiamen University: Nanguang, Furong, Qinye, Dongyuan and Haibin. Every canteen has its own taste!
Lotus Hotel
Closest to the girls' dormitory group! There are three floors.
There are dishes on the first floor, as well as some eight-treasure porridge, crock soup, baked sweet potatoes, boiled corn, salted bean curd, sweet bean curd, fried skewers, bread, cakes, fruits, beef pots and so on.
The second floor is my favorite! There is basically no thunder! There are all kinds of noodles, such as shredded chicken noodles, shrimp noodles, beef noodles with golden soup, beef Huimian Noodles, mutton Huimian Noodles and so on. There are also sizzling fried rice, sizzling spaghetti, Satay noodles, Mala Tang, rice rolls and so on.
Dongyuan restaurant
A more luxurious canteen, with a higher price, is next to the Furong canteen.
On the first floor, there are milk tea, fruit juice, fried powder, fried rice, fried toast, fried steak, all kinds of pasta, shrimps, tea bags, Zhajiang Noodles, pork intestines noodles and so on. And sushi, pizza, potato cheese, etc. They are all delicious, and you can also order food from the rightmost window, such as the grilled fish from 88 yuan. There is also a big screen on the first floor, where you can watch the news while eating.
The pasta on the third floor is absolutely delicious! Especially burning noodles! Ho ho eat!
Nanguang restaurant
There are many cooking windows here, as well as Satay Noodles. The food is light, but cooking is really cost-effective! I usually spend 4-8 yuan, and the meal is free!
There are many cupcakes in Nanguang in the morning and afternoon! I like tiger skin taro rolls best, lava cakes are super hard to grab, and red velvet cake rolls are also delicious!
Qinye restaurant
Eat hard and eat too much! And it is the largest canteen in the school.
In addition to ordinary windows, there are more Sichuan-style windows, including roast duck area, braised dishes area and dessert area.
There are steaks, spring rolls, clay pot rice and so on. On the second floor, there are many midnight snacks (although I haven't clocked in yet). There is a bakery on the far right, with all kinds of cakes. The taro buns for breakfast are delicious! Clay pot rice is also good!
Seaside restaurant
Next to the law school, it's far away. Rice rolls is delicious. I will try it later.
