There are historical factors: Tianguanfu, Daomenkou, Jiaochangkou, Consular Lane, Gunpowder Bureau, Xueyuan Street, Old Yamen and so on.
Named after animals: E Ling, E Xiang Jing, Goose, Maoershi, Yuleichi, Yemaoxi, white elephant street, Yangziba, Jigongzui, Yaerdang, Baimadang, Niushitan, etc.
Named after plants: Caiyuanba, Pipa Mountain, Meizipo, Huangjueya, Bajiaoyuan Street, Lianhuachi, Gui Huayuan, Liu Yang Street, etc.
Named after numbers: a bowl of water, two intersections, triangle field, four lanes, Wulidian, Liudianzi, four kilometers, five kilometers, six kilometers, seven kilometers, eight kilometers, nine kilometers and ten kilometers. Anyway, I was trapped when I first came to Chongqing.
