Facing the fierce competition in the book market, Hebei Science and Technology Publishing House regards "publishing good books and creating benefits" as the foundation of the society. Under the guiding ideology of "producing excellent products, creating characteristics, increasing benefits and seeking development", we make full use of local advantages, strive to develop featured topics, optimize the book structure, and gradually build a topic selection framework based on academic monographs, applied technology, popular science life and teaching materials, thus forming a certain book publishing feature. Through in-depth market research and repeated argumentation, the publishing house clearly puts forward the brand development strategy, takes the new road of "improving the quality of books with brand series and promoting the adjustment of book structure", and takes the maximization of "two benefits" of books as the starting point and the foothold of book publishing. On the basis of market research, four brand series of books, namely "cash cow", "National Medical Hall", "paper crane" and "food show", were initially determined, which were used for brand packaging of agricultural books, Chinese medicine books, life health care books and cooking books respectively.
