Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 According to the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Protection of Wild Animals (hereinafter referred to as the Law on the Protection of Wild Animals), the Decision of NPC Standing Committee on Completely Banning Illegal Wildlife Trading, Eliminating the Bad Habits of Eating Wild Animals, and Effectively Safeguarding People's Life, Health and Safety (hereinafter referred to as the Decision), and the Regulations on the Implementation of Terrestrial Wildlife Protection in People's Republic of China (PRC) (hereinafter referred to as the Implementation Regulations) and other laws and administrative regulations, combined with the actual situation of this province. Article 2 These Measures shall apply to wildlife protection and related activities in this province.

Any organization or individual in this province has the obligation to protect wild animals and their habitats.

It is forbidden for any organization or individual to illegally kill or destroy the habitat of wild animals. Article 3 The following terrestrial wild animals are prohibited from being eaten in this province according to law:

(a) brown pheasant, black stork, Huabei leopard, musk deer, swan, macaque, hedgehog and other national and provincial key protected wild animals in the list of wild animals;

(two) wild animals in the list of terrestrial wild animals with important ecological, scientific and social values, such as wild boar, grass rabbit, pigeon, pig badger and Yellow weasel;

(three) bats, voles, cicadas and other terrestrial wild animals that naturally grow and breed in the wild environment;

(4) Terrestrial wild animals artificially propagated and raised outside the catalogue of livestock and poultry genetic resources formulated and published by the animal husbandry and veterinary administrative department of the State Council.

Do not eat terrestrial wild animals that are forbidden to eat in the name of medicinal diet.

Pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, cows, sheep, donkeys and other livestock and poultry in the catalogue of livestock and poultry genetic resources can only be eaten after passing the quarantine inspection in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The people's government at or above the county level decides to temporarily ban eating because of the need of epidemic prevention.

The provincial people's government shall, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state, adjust the list of key protected wild animals in this province and announce it to the public. Article 4 It is completely forbidden to trade terrestrial wild animals that naturally grow and breed in the wild environment for the purpose of eating. Article 5 Online trading platforms, commodity trading markets, catering services and other trading and consumption places, as well as transportation, warehousing and distribution operators, shall not provide conditions, places or other services for illegal wildlife trading.

Catering operators shall not use the names, nicknames and patterns of wild animals that are forbidden to eat to make signboards or recipes to attract customers. Article 6 It is forbidden to hunt and hunt terrestrial wild animals that naturally grow and breed in the wild environment for the purpose of eating. Seventh units and individuals are encouraged to report illegal eating, trading and hunting of wild animals, and the relevant departments shall promptly handle the report. Eighth provincial departments in charge of forestry, grassland and fishery are the provincial departments in charge of wildlife protection, and are in charge of the management of terrestrial and aquatic wildlife in this province; The competent departments of forestry, grassland and fishery of cities and counties (cities, districts) divided into districts are the competent departments of wildlife protection within their respective administrative areas, and are in charge of the management of inland wildlife and aquatic animals within their respective administrative areas.

Township people's governments and sub-district offices shall cooperate with the work of prohibiting the consumption of terrestrial wild animals. Ninth according to the relevant provisions of the state, the financial departments at all levels should arrange the funds needed for wildlife protection and management. Departments in charge of forestry, grassland and fishery at all levels should raise funds and increase investment in wildlife protection. Tenth people's governments at all levels and their relevant departments, social organizations, schools, news media, etc. Actively carry out publicity and education on ecological environmental protection and public health safety, guide the whole society to enhance public health safety awareness, change customs, abandon the bad habit of eating wild animals, and develop a scientific, healthy and civilized lifestyle. Chapter II Protection of Wild Animals Article 11 People's governments at all levels shall extensively carry out publicity and education on the protection of wild animals and their habitats, and raise citizens' awareness of the protection of wild animals and their habitats.

Every April 5th to 1 1 is the Bird-loving Week in Shanxi Province. September 15 to 10/5 is Shanxi Wildlife Protection Publicity Month. Twelfth March 15 to 10/0/5 is the hunting season in Shanxi province.

During the hunting ban, if it is necessary to hunt wild animals because of the harm caused by wild animals, it shall be approved by the wildlife protection department at or above the county level and submitted to the provincial wildlife protection department for approval. Thirteenth any organization or individual who finds that the key protected wild animals are injured, trapped, hungry or lost shall take corresponding protection and rescue measures and report to the local wildlife protection department in time. Fourteenth key protected wildlife habitats and other areas that need special protection, no organization or individual may exceed the prescribed discharge standards to discharge pollutants. Fifteenth it is forbidden to build projects that are not allowed by laws and regulations in the relevant nature reserves. The examination and approval department for the construction of industrial and civil facilities or quarrying, mining and environmental impact assessment documents shall, when examining and approving, implement the relevant provisions of the Wildlife Protection Law if the national and provincial key protected wild animals are involved. Chapter III Management of Wild Animals Article 16 In accordance with the relevant provisions of the state, a general survey of wild animals and their habitats shall be organized every ten years, resource files shall be established, and plans for the protection and development of wild animals and their habitats shall be formulated. Seventeenth because of scientific research, population control, epidemic monitoring or other special circumstances, it is necessary to hunt wild animals under national first-class protection, it shall apply to the competent department of wildlife protection in the State Council for a special hunting and catching license; If it is necessary to hunt wild animals under state second-class protection, it shall apply to the wildlife protection department of the provincial people's government for a special hunting and catching license.

If it is necessary to hunt wild animals under special protection in the province, it shall apply to the wildlife protection department of the Municipal People's Government with districts for a hunting license.

Anyone who hunts and hunts terrestrial wild animals with important ecological, scientific and social values shall apply to the wildlife protection department of the county people's government for hunting license and implement hunting quota management.
