Insert a picture. Usually, the option to insert a picture with the drawing tool appears behind the menu tab after insert, shape or picture. When editing an illustration content object with Word, the Drawing Tool will automatically appear after inserting a shape or selecting a target shape, and the Picture Tool will automatically appear after inserting or selecting a picture.
