Semicircular symbol means openness and inclusiveness at the same time. Sports icons, with graphic language and easy identification, are widely used in stadiums, road indication systems, publications, advertisements, environmental layout, TV broadcast, medals and certificates, souvenirs and other fields. It is an important visual element of Universiade information transmission and an important part of Universiade image landscape. The design style of sports icons should be consistent with the overall image and landscape of the Universiade.
The design was inspired by the dots of the Universiade emblem. Through the cutting and overlapping of disks, the basic humanoid structure of sports icons is formed, and 24 individual sports actions of the Universiade are interpreted, reflecting the unique fashion vitality and aesthetic taste of the younger generation.
This series of sports icons is unique in style, easy to identify, and the transparent image originates from the unique air and landscape of Shenzhen, a coastal city. On the basis of overlapping, it retains the fine lines of the project and has an elegant and lively artistic temperament.
7. Shenzhen Universiade Song Collection
Since 2008, the Executive Board of the Organizing Committee for the Shenzhen Summer Universiade has launched two song collection activities with the theme of "Happy Universiade Songs", which are aimed at the public and specific groups. Collect nearly 1000 original songs, select 10 outstanding campus singers, and hold an award ceremony for outstanding works.
In the first activity from August 2008 to August 2009 1 month, 10 songs stood out among the works submitted by the public and specific groups. The second activity, organized by the Central Conservatory of Music, attracted more than 1 00 universities from home and abroad (especially those specializing in music production and performance) to contribute ideas for the Universiade anthem, volunteer theme song and torch relay song from March 2009 to June 2006. Among the 420 works collected, 10 was selected by experts, including such popular songs as "Starting from Here" and "Wings of Dreams".
The theme song of the volunteers selected for the second activity is Here I am, which was produced by two famous musicians, Wang Xiaofeng and Han Bao, and sung by China pop star Chris Lee. It ranked first among Baidu's popular songs only 10 days after it was released on Baidu Music's website. The Universiade anthem and the torch relay song are to be determined, and the collection and evaluation of songs need to be further carried out.
