"Now the temple is full of treasures of food!"
It is basic to provide delicious vegetarian food, and some also provide soup and tea.
What's more, I also sold a trendy vegetarian milk tea coffee!
? So, what "vegetarian dishes" are sold in the temple?
So, the members of the little black room decided,
In the name of "Urban Adventure Group",
In the sunny spring outing season, go out to eat and drink for you,
The foodie squad will be interested to see it.

From the outside, the overall architecture of Liu Rong Temple is not impressive. Pay attention when you come. Zhaitang was established in a hidden way. We looked at the map, asked the volunteers and had a hard time finding it.
There is a canopy opposite the Zhaitang, and several stone tables and chairs are placed to facilitate believers to sit down and enjoy the vegetarian meal. You don't have to eat standing up. How sweet!
The principle of distributing fast food in Liu Rong Temple is to distribute meal coupons to ticket holders first, and then to other customers. Without electronic payment and specific price, everyone can enjoy the lowest 6 yuan.
Because I didn't get the meal ticket in advance, I had to wait patiently, about 20 minutes, and the lunch box was there!
The first feeling of opening the box lunch is: the weight is good! Dishes are common fried miscellaneous vegetables, including common vegetarian dishes such as radish, cabbage, yuba, vermicelli and auricularia, but the key to delicious food is all below.
Pull open the pressed vegetarian dish and find a reddish-brown juice with salty taste, which is lobster sauce. You can also eat it slightly spicy. Salted lobster sauce with bland vegetarian dishes is a must for the next meal!
How can Cantonese eat without soup?
Liu Rong Temple will cook apples and dried longan offered by believers into soup. Because a lot of apples are used, but there is not much soup, so apple soup is especially sweet. When we had soup, we both couldn't help exclaiming, "How sweet!" .
In addition, Liu Rong Temple has prepared hot tea for tourists to gargle. The hot tea is green tea with mint, licorice and other materials 10. The fragrance of medicinal materials with refreshing green tea makes people feel refreshed with a cup!
Generally speaking, the vegetarian food in Liu Rong Temple includes rice, soup and tea, which are delicious! It's similar to the set meal sold in the restaurant outside, except that there is no meat. If it's your first time to experience fasting in a temple, then this team strongly recommends that you come to Liu Rong Temple!

? Big Buddha Temple Group?

The Great Buddha Temple is located in the bustling business district of Beijing Road, with magnificent architecture. You will never miss it. The place where vegetarian meals are served is relatively partial and not obvious.
On the first day, there were a lot of people, and there was a long queue in front of the window. Fortunately, the food was served quickly enough, and the line seemed long. Actually, it's 15 minutes.
The Big Buddha Temple supports electronic payment! You just need to choose the number of copies you want to buy, show the payment success page to the master after paying the fee, and you can get the vegetarian meal! (moved)
The players turned around and couldn't find a special place to eat. Seeing other letters sitting on the wooden chairs and stairs in the corridor, we also sat down and "do as the Romans do", which is relatively simple.
Auricularia auricula, Tremella fuciformis, vermicelli, lotus root, Chinese cabbage and so on 15 kinds of vegetarian dishes, rich in style and attractive in color.
Lotus root is tender, stewed and eaten, with delicious side dishes and fragrant mushrooms. Carrots and vegetables are cooked just right, only when they are soft and rotten will they be cooked and taste just right. Generally speaking, it tastes homely. After all, it's only ten yuan, and it feels cost-effective.
After fasting, it's time for a cup of milk tea. There is a coffee shop in the Big Buddha Temple, which is the first coffee shop in China! The environment has its own Buddhism.
We ordered a cup of milk tea and American coffee, and strongly recommended Golden Kung Fu milk tea, which is very strong, neither sweet nor greasy. The most amazing thing is that the pearls inside are different from ordinary soft pearls, but the taste is crisp and novel, and you can't stop chewing!
It is said that cappuccino is not bad, and ladies can pull flowers. You can try it sometime. In addition, the milk used in coffee shops is vegetable fat milk. If you don't like it, there are tea options such as health tea.
Overall feeling: Compared with traditional temples, the Big Buddha Temple has many new elements. Even if you don't burn incense or worship Buddha, you can come here, have a vegetarian meal and drink a cup of "Buddhist coffee" to experience the clean life of Buddhism.

? Guangxiao Temple Group?
Team members: COKA &;; Linda
We arrived at Guangxiao Temple near noon, and it costs 5 yuan to enter the temple. After entering the temple, we followed the crowd around the hall and came to the release pool of Guangxiao Temple, where the Zhaitang is located.
To tell the truth, the dining place is a little unexpected, too simple! There are no tables and chairs, and everyone is standing or sitting on the steps to eat, like this.
There is no electronic payment in Guangxiao Temple, and there is no specific price for vegetarian meals. There is at least one 5-yuan copy for everyone to enjoy. Just put the money in the oil drum. As there was no change for 5 yuan, we let 20 yuan in and ate two vegetarian meals.
Vegetarian food is packed in a plastic lunch box, which can almost fill the whole box.
Vegetarianism is a home-cooked dish, simple but not rough. Ordinary vegetarian dishes such as mushrooms, fungus, yuba, broccoli and Chinese cabbage are seasoned with salt, soy sauce and cooking wine, and then quickly stir-fried, with a light taste. It is worth mentioning that Guangxiao Temple uses peanut oil. After eating it in one bite, the unique fragrance of peanut oil permeates the mouth and leaves fragrance on the teeth and cheeks.
Vegetarian food tastes good, but rice is a bit unsatisfactory. I don't know why, but we are a little disappointed to find that the rice is a little raw under chewing.
On the way back, we were discussing this adventure. Generally speaking, the vegetarian dishes in Guangxiao Temple taste good, but considering the dining environment and raw rice, we all agree that it is not recommended to come here if we just want to experience the temple food.

Haiguang Temple is located in Nanhua Middle Road, Haizhu District, and its appearance is quite eye-catching among the buildings. There is no special place for the messengers to eat. Everyone lined up to cook, and quickly set it in the pavilion, or stood or sat (took out their own small stools).
This is the first day of the lunar calendar, and many people come to the temple. We arrived around 12, barely catching up with the fast food queue, but we were told that the fast food had been distributed before we arrived!
We watched it eagerly for a long time, and finally decided to have the cheek to do something in the "Zhai Tang" in the temple. The Zhaitang is only for the masters, staff and volunteers in the temple to eat, and the tableware for the masters to eat is covered with clean tablecloths.
When we went in, volunteers were eating. Seeing our "humble" appearance, we asked about the taste of the food. The kind-hearted volunteer sister not only gave us two meals that she planned to take home, but also answered our various questions (such as what kind of food ……).
After the staff of Zhaitang learned our purpose, they also gave us a kumquat! I have always been full of goodwill!
Finally, I officially started eating. I counted the types of dishes and found that they were super rich. There are nine kinds of vegetables in our two boxes of vegetarian rice, such as chestnut, fungus, yuba, mushrooms, green vegetables, vermicelli and green pepper rings.
As for the taste, it's really delicious! The highlights are "chestnuts in oil" and "Agaricus blazei in oil". It doesn't have much flavor, but all the ingredients are fragrant. I feel that Agaricus blazei cooked in the temple has an auspicious shape. ...
After eating vegetarian food, go to the merit box and pay five yuan.
However, it should be noted that vegetarian meals should be eaten completely and not wasted. We started the "storm inhalation" mode immediately after hearing this. I have to say that every box of vegetarian dishes is particularly tight, and the weight is extremely sufficient. One box is better than two boxes.
After eating, we patted our bulging belly, and we gave unanimous praise. If it's not too far, I'm sure we'll come to eat often.

? There are also reports of vegetarian experiences in temples around the world?
Before the urban exploration delegation set off, we also collected their vegetarian experiences in temples from netizens. Space is limited. In the vegetarian experience we received, we selected some vegetarian dishes from some areas for your reference.
? @Mon | Taishan White Elephant Ancient Temple?
Guangdong Taishan Millennium Temple Baixiang Ancient Temple. Surrounded by rivers, hidden in mountains. A local friend led the way to eat a vegetarian meal, which was "amazing" (or maybe I have too little experience in vegetarianism in my life). Later, I returned to Guangzhou, anxious and impetuous. Somehow I missed the vegetarian meal and drove for two hours to eat again. It is still delicious. The ingredients used are nothing more than the dishes planted by the monks themselves, the bean cakes made by the monks themselves and the pickles pickled by the monks themselves, but under the "Buddhist" cuisine, the food has the most simple taste. Although the Great Hall of the Ancient Temple has not been built, a vegetarian meal has made people enlightened.
@ 中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中中𰵍200013 | Guangzhou Nengren Ancient Temple?
The vegetarian meal in Nengren Ancient Temple is a small steamed bun in the north, which is rare in Guangzhou. It is fermented with old flour, and it is soft and full of natural elasticity. The stuffing consists of broccoli, mushrooms and shredded carrots. Although I was faced with a table of vegetarian dishes, I always pursued the delicacy of vegetarian dishes, so I ate four at a time.
I often grow flowers and like trees | Hangzhou Temple
I like vegetarian food in Faxi Temple best. It's a simple meal, but it tastes delicious. No need to follow. Bye. Just give a meal ticket and you can eat 2333. Ji Xiang Temple's fortune cookie is also delicious. My classmates said it was delicious when I took it home. I like green tea! Then the roast plain goose in Jingci Temple is also good!
@ Ray. ? | Yunnan Silent Photo Temple
When traveling in Dali, Yunnan, the chartered master recommended a vegetarian 20 yuan in Silent Photo Temple. /kloc-Dinner was served at 0/2, and we shared a seat with other guests in the yard full of succulents.
The food is many local vegetables, such as pumpkin, rice cake, steamed beans, eggplant and other home-cooked dishes. I don't think it's overcooked, and I keep the taste of the food itself. The whole bowl of food is sweet and salty, colorful but harmonious.
? @ 丫丫丫丫丫丫丫丫 | Shenzhen Phoenix Mountain Vegetarian?
At the beginning of the year, I climbed Phoenix Mountain and ate a vegetarian buffet on the mountain. 58 adults and 28 children. Besides meat, there are many kinds of rice, vegetables, noodles, soup, desserts and fruits. Especially recommend sugar water, there are four or five kinds, I ate three kinds, and finally ate too much.
? Super | Australian Temple
Weekend is the open day of Australian monasteries. Believers will come to the monasteries to help volunteer, and the temple fasting hall is also open to ordinary people. There are many kinds of vegetarian food here, which will break many people's inherent impression of vegetarian food. Because it's so delicious, it's easy to accidentally eat too much. After coming back from Australia, I will never forget the food in the temple …
? @ Xiao Xu | Vegetarian dishes in China?
The Thousand Monks' Zhai in Pushou Temple in Wutai Mountain, Shanxi Province, the plain face of Lu Hua Temple, the kitchen of Zixiao Palace in Wudang Mountain, the dough of the practice ground between glaciers, the green vegetables of the central hermit in Qinghai Lake, and the yellow apricot of the mysterious witch in Kongtong Mountain. ...
After this round of shop visits, we found that temple fasting is becoming more and more "unusual" and "troublesome". The food is still ordinary, but there are more "willing" apple soup, golden kung fu milk tea with rich tea flavor, kumquat and good luck. ...
The fly in the ointment is the simple dining environment in the temple, which makes everyone eat a little cramped, but this "grounded gas" eating method seems to be rare.
So, after reading this issue of the urban adventure group, which group do you choose? ?
