Its main business includes the manufacture of electronic components such as metal structural parts, plastic structural parts, 3D glass, ceramics, chargers and lithium batteries, as well as the design, testing and assembly of electronic products. Its business covers four major areas, namely smart phones and laptops, new intelligent products, automotive intelligent systems and medical care.

BYD is engaged in rail transit, taking advantage of integration and innovation, extending the industrial chain of electric vehicles to the field of rail transit, and launching a medium-volume "cloud rail" and a small-volume "cloud bus" with completely independent intellectual property rights, which fills the technical and industrial gaps of medium-and small-volume rail transit in China and provides an effective solution for global cities to control traffic congestion.

BYD is engaged in batteries and energy storage, and has a variety of new energy products such as batteries, solar energy and energy storage, providing an overall solution for energy acquisition, storage and application. Products cover consumer 3C batteries, power batteries and energy storage batteries, and have a complete industrial chain. BYD is a leading power battery manufacturer in China, and its solar energy and energy storage solutions have been exported to the United States, Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Canada, Australia, South Africa and other countries and regions.
