2. The banquet dishes are served in the following order:
(1) Four kinds of dried fruits: four kinds of dried fruits, peanuts or sweets.
(2) Four kinds of fresh fruits: apples, bananas, oranges and pitaya. Be careful not to carry pears.
(3) Four cold dishes: Four cold dishes can be matched at will.
(4) Eight heats: four hot dishes, two meats and two vegetarian dishes.
(5) Four bowls: mixed meat and vegetables, used as staple food.
This has been a custom in Baoding for many years, especially in rural areas in previous years. Old people in cities and rural areas now have the same idea.
