Automobile maintenance includes automobile overhaul and automobile minor repair. Automobile overhaul refers to the restorative repair to restore the intact technical condition of the automobile and completely (or nearly completely) restore its service life by repairing or replacing any parts (including basic parts) of the automobile.
Automobile minor repair refers to the operational repair of replacing or repairing individual parts to ensure or restore the working ability of the automobile.
It is annoying to find that the engine can't start when people are sitting in the car and ready to leave. But sometimes, the engine won't start, just because of some minor faults. Knowing these reasons and the basic knowledge of automobile maintenance can solve the basic problems as soon as possible.
First, check whether the distributor, spark plug and high-voltage line are normal. Because the car was wet by the rain. If so, dry the wet part before you start.

Secondly, check whether the spark plug is damaged. If it is damaged, just replace it with a new spark plug.
Third, check whether the battery voltage is sufficient. Sometimes you forget to turn off the lights when parking, and after a long time, there may be no electricity. If so, put the car in second gear, step on the clutch, and drag it with the car (generally not recommended, it is best to find someone to push it). When driving to a certain speed, loosen the clutch and twist the ignition switch (generally not recommended, turn the ignition switch to the ON position before pushing it), and the car can start. If there is something wrong with the generator, this method will not work.
The engine stalled when shifting gears.
When shifting gears while driving, if the operation is standardized, but flameout occurs, the following problems need to be checked:
First look at whether the idle speed is stable or too low. If the idle speed is unstable or low, just adjust the idle speed to the normal speed. Also tighten the idle stop valve and plug it tightly.
Secondly, if the idle speed is normal, it may be that the carburetor is blocked and needs to be cleaned at a professional maintenance station.
The steering wheel will vibrate at high speed.
When a car is driving at a high speed or a certain high speed, it will be unstable, head-shaking, and even steering wheel jitter. The reasons are as follows:
1. The front wheel alignment angle is out of alignment and the toe-in is too large.
2. The air pressure in the front tire is too low or the tire does not start smoothly due to repair and other reasons.
3. The front spokes are deformed or the number of tire bolts is different.
4. Loose installation of transmission system parts.
5. The transmission shaft is bent, the power is unbalanced, and the front axle is deformed.
6. Shock absorber failure
