Libo County belongs to Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, which is located in the south of Guizhou Province. It borders congjiang county and Rongjiang counties in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture in the northeast, Huanjiang county and Nandan county in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the southeast, dushan county in the west and Sandu county in the north.
