Country Road, also known as Meeting the Road and Walking on the Country Road, is one of the masterpieces of Ye Jiaxiu, a famous musician in Taiwan Province. Zhu Fengbo, a famous lead singer from the Mainland, and Shi Honge, a famous tenor, introduced her to sing in the Mainland. "On the Country Road" was also selected as the fifth-grade textbook of Jiangsu Education Edition. The original singer Chyi Yu was later covered by Ye Jiaxiu, Steven Liu, Su Xiaoming, Zhang Mingmin, Pan Anbang, Wang Jieshi, Cai Qin, Zhuo Yiting and Jinxiu. Zhang Mingmin sang this song at 1984 Spring Festival Gala.
