Introduction of scenic spots

Jing Qing Temple

9:00~ 18:00

In the middle of the bustling Tumen Street, there is a building that is incompatible with the red houses in southern Fujian on both sides. This is one of the oldest mosques in China-Jing Qing Temple. Arabic pinyin is translated into "Esuhab Mosque", which was built in the Northern Song Dynasty 1009 and modeled after Damascus Mosque in Syria. As the name implies, compared with the crowded Guandi Temple not far away, Jing Qing Temple is really quite clean. Occasionally, a few devout believers come here to nod silently and mumble something.

The semi-dome gatehouse, which passes through granite and diabase, and the green space on the left side of the ruins used to be the Temple of Heaven where Muslims prayed every day. 1607 Quanzhou earthquake collapsed a huge dome, leaving several spare pillars. Because the dome of the worship hall can't be repaired, a small worship hall, which is now called the Chinese-style Mingshan Hall, was built in AD 1609. This building is also ill-fated, and it has been built and collapsed repeatedly. The existing building is a modern reconstruction. But the lotus incense burner at the entrance of Mingshantang is a genuine antique. There is a Jing Qing Temple Exhibition Center on the west side of Fengtian Temple. This paper introduces the history, architectural features and Muslim culture of Quanzhou.

Chengtiansi

8:00~ 17:00

When you first walk into the temple gate, you may wonder whether you have stepped into a beautiful garden. Looking around, there are green grasslands, tall and dense banyan trees and Taiping jars with lotus flowers. This ancient temple, built in the south-central part of the Tang Dynasty 10 century, was originally a South Garden built for five generations, and was renamed Chengtian Temple in the Song Dynasty. After the war in the late Ming Dynasty and the reconstruction in the early Qing Dynasty, Master Hongyi came here to preach Buddhism on 1930, and stayed there for fourteen years. Today, the quiet atmosphere that separates the noisy world remains unchanged.

Entering from the gate with the word "Le Tai", the long banyan corridor is shaded by green trees, with a row of seven pagodas on the right, and the platform yard and the ancient cast money site on the left. Another courtyard is the crematorium where Master Hongyi lived and died in Wuxi. The owner who guards the courtyard sometimes closes the door to rest, so he may not see it. The site is just a clearing, where the ancient "Yonglong Bao Tong" Tao Qianfan engraved on the stone tablet was unearthed three meters underground. On the north side of the end of the tunnel are the Heavenly King Hall and the newly renovated hall, but the mottled stone buildings interspersed among them still exude ancient meaning. Without fireworks, you might as well stroll in my room, through the shaded valleys, branches and flowers, and go to a Buddhist retreat.

Qingyuanshan

6:00~ 19:00

For Quanzhou people who have many free scenic spots, it is a good place to walk after the train attendants get off work in the morning or evening, climbing the 500-meter-high Qingyuan Mountain. But for travelers, the biggest attraction here is many old traces of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, especially Laojunyan and Tibet III Buddha.

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the main entrance of the scenic spot, just in front of Laojunyan, the protagonist of Quanzhou business card. This huge natural rock, which was originally shaped like an old man, was made by "a slightly carved man". Follow the signpost to the Hony Master Pagoda, which is deeply rooted in southern Fujian and still remains here today. Don't miss Feng Zikai's tearful ink painting on the inner wall of the pagoda. Continue along Qingyuan Ancient Road to Bixiaoyan, where Tibet III Buddha is located, then go down the mountain and return to Laojunyan parking lot along the road. The whole journey takes about 2 hours.

If you have enough time, you can look at the map and search for the cliff stone carvings that the ancients "visited here" one by one. Since May 2008, the scenic spot has opened a free bus, which can go directly to Nantai, which is the favorite place for local people to make tea and chat, and you can also go to Tianhu to eat farm dishes.

China Fujian-Taiwan Relatives Museum

9: 00 ~ 17: 00, closed on Monday.

The museum is located at the foot of Qingyuan Mountain. Its name may not be attractive, but an hour's walk here will definitely surprise you. The treasure of the town hall is a huge blasting painting in the hall. Cai Guoqiang, a contemporary artist whose ancestral home is Quanzhou, drew a giant ancient tree with a height of18m and a width of 9m with gunpowder, which had a strong visual impact.

The first floor of the museum takes history as the main line, showing all aspects of Quanzhou's development from the perspectives of geography, nationality and politics, including the close relationship between Fujian and Taiwan provinces in history. On the second floor, the theme is the four seasons, and the Minnan dialect is introduced with the clues of Yuanxiao, Purdue in the Central Plains and Mid-Autumn Festival.

the luoyang bridge

Luoyang Bridge was built in the Northern Song Dynasty, not in Luoyang. According to legend, in the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty visited a river in Hui 'an County of Quanzhou incognito, claiming that the scenery along the river was somewhat similar to Luoyang, hence the name Luoyang River. This bridge is named after it.

Luoyang Bridge is famous for its sunset. You can enjoy the construction method of the bridge while waiting. The bridge foundation is designed as a boat, which can not only reduce the impulse of water, but also have the aesthetic effect of helping each other in the same boat. The large stone slab bridge deck weighing several tons is laid across the pier according to the law of ship Shangsheng Gao at high tide. The most creative thing is that in order to consolidate the bridge foundation, the ancients cultivated a large number of oysters under the bridge. Even Mao Yisheng, a bridge expert, praised this ingenious method of "planting oysters to strengthen the foundation" as "the first bridge in Fujian".

In addition, Zhonghui Caigong Temple (9: 00 ~ 17: 00) was also built in the Song Dynasty, on the pedestrian street of Qiaonan Village on the south side of the bridge. The inscription of Zhong Ting's "The Story of Wan 'an Bridge" was written by Cai Xiang. As one of the "Song Sijia" and the presiding builder of Luoyang Bridge, this inscription also adds a lot of brilliance to Luoyang Bridge.

Food recommendation

Come to Quanzhou, please loosen your belts! Walk into the old alley of West Street where traditional snacks gather, Wenling Road Food Street where various restaurants gather, and the show creative park where fashionable and creative dishes and exotic restaurants can be seen everywhere. Don't miss snacks such as vinegar meat, floating cakes, bowls and cakes. Vendors only show up after school. The food city at midnight is also very exciting. Every night, around 10, the food stalls in Cultural Palace, West Street Bell Tower and Jiang Bin Road begin to be lively, and some seafood stalls will also prepare sieve cups to attract diners.
