Paddy fields.

The farmland water conservancy in Chengdu Plain is very developed, and the cultivated land is concentrated and contiguous. It is a typical paddy agricultural area. The main crops are rice, wheat and rapeseed. The yield is high and stable. The commercial grain and oil provided all year round are about Sichuan's. 1/5 and 2/5 of the province are famous commodity grain and oil production bases in Sichuan and the country.

The Chengdu Plain is developed on the basis of a northeast-southwest trending syncline structure. It consists of eight rivers, including the Minjiang River, Tuojiang River (Mianyuan River, Shitingjiang River, and Jianjiang River) originating from the northwest Sichuan Plateau, and their tributaries. Alluvial fans overlap and connect to form a composite alluvial fan plain.
