Introduction to Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty
Duke Wu of Jin (754-677 BC), also known as Duke Wu of Qu Wo, was named Ji, the great-grandson of Jin Muhou, the grandson of Uncle Huan of Qu Wo, the son of Zhuang Bo of Qu Wo, and the king of Jin State in the Spring and Autumn Period. In 7 16 BC, the stepfather became the monarch of Quwo, and was called Duke of Quwo Wu before the annexation of Jin. In 678 BC, he killed Duke Xiang of Jin, annexed the State of Jin, and bribed Zhou with treasure, so Zhou made him king of the State of Jin and a vassal. Quwo Wugong was renamed as Jinwugong, and the chronology of Quwo Wugong is still used. In 677 BC, Emperor Wu of Jin died and his son Jin Xiangong succeeded him. Overview image source:
