What is the jade Buddha in the Jade Buddha Temple in Thailand?
Wat Phra Kaew, located in the north of the Grand Palace, is a royal temple in Thailand and is famous for offering priceless jade buddhas. The jade Buddha (Sakyamuni) enshrined in the Hall of the Great Hero is the most important and valuable national treasure in Thailand. The king came here three times a year to change clothes for the Jade Buddha himself. There are two Buddha statues in front of the Jade Buddha, each with 38 kilograms of gold. The main attractions are: Daxiong Hall, Bilong Temple of Heaven, Tibetan Scripture Pavilion, Immortal Decoration and Immortal Corridor.
