But most of us will be confused. Since the price is similar, what's the difference between the two? Which floor is more suitable for home use?

In this evaluation, Tuba Rabbit Lab showed the difference between multi-layer solid wood composite flooring and laminate flooring more intuitively.

Therefore, in order to ensure the fairness of the experiment, the laboratory selects the same brand of multi-layer solid wood composite floor and laminate floor for comparison, and the comparison dimensions are: appearance difference, environmental protection, bearing capacity, fire resistance, dirt resistance and moisture resistance.

First, the product appearance

1, texture

Multi-layer solid wood composite floor: the appearance has the same beautiful wood grain as solid wood floor, with good dimensional stability and convenient laying and maintenance. It can be used as geothermal energy, so it is more suitable for cold areas.

Composite laminate flooring: Composite laminate flooring is a kind of multi-layer flooring, which consists of surface wear-resistant layer, decorative layer, buffer layer, wood-based panel base layer and balance layer. The decorative layer is actually printed decorative paper made by computer simulation, which can be printed with wood grain or other patterns imitating precious trees.

2. Floor thickness

After measurement, the floor thickness of multi-layer solid wood composite floor is 15mm, and the floor thickness of composite reinforced floor is 14mm, and there is little difference between them.

Second, environmental protection-strengthening the floor to win

At present, the most worrying thing about family decoration is formaldehyde.

After testing, the values of the two kinds of wood boards are in the normal range, and the values of the composite strengthened floor are better than those of the multi-layer solid wood composite floor. Therefore, as long as the materials are of high quality, the environmental protection performance of composite laminate flooring may be better than that of multi-layer solid wood composite flooring.

At home, we often drag heavy objects, such as furniture, electrical appliances, etc., and at the same time we accidentally drop some heavy objects. What will happen to the floor?

Experimental method: We use the same weight stone to fall at the same height and observe the damage of the board.

The experimental results show that the sag of multi-layer solid wood composite floor is higher than that of composite reinforced floor, which shows that the anti-falling ability of reinforced floor is stronger than that of multi-layer solid wood composite floor.

Fourth, wear resistance? -laminate flooring won.

It is always said that the wood floor is difficult to take care of and easy to scratch, so we will test the wear resistance of the wood floor.

Experimental method: use a grinder to grind the floor violently.

The experimental results show that the grinding depth of multi-layer solid wood composite floor is greater.

Verb (abbreviation for verb) fire protection ability-strengthen the floor.

Although every family doesn't want to have a fire, the awareness of fire prevention is still very important, so we use two different types of boards to test their fire resistance.

Experimental method: put two kinds of wooden boards on fire for 30 seconds to observe the damage degree.

The experimental results show that the damage degree of multi-layer solid wood composite floor is greater than that of reinforced wood board, which shows that the burning range in the same area is wider and the damage depth in the same damaged area is greater.

Six, anti-pollution ability-draw lots

The cleanability of the wood floor is also very important, and the outstanding anti-pollution ability saves a lot of trouble for the daily cleaning of the floor.

Experimental method: In order to simulate common floor stains, we use water-based pens to write and wipe on two kinds of floors.

Experimental results: Both types of wooden boards can easily wipe off the pen stains of water-based pens, which is convenient for cleaning.

Seven, moisture-proof ability-painting

The climate in the south is humid, and the wooden floor is prone to bulging.

Experimental method: We soaked two kinds of wood boards for 20 hours to compare the swelling degree of multi-layer solid wood composite floor and laminated floor in wet environment.

Experimental results: soak for 19 hours, take out two plates, and check that there is no swelling phenomenon.
