The school is basically dominated by chickens, and the canteen has a Muslim window. Xi 'an itself has many Muslims and is also a settlement, so there are many halal things that can't be eaten.

Xi Anmingde Vocational and Technical College is a full-time private institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor is Mingde College of Northwestern Polytechnical University, which is an advanced independent college in China, a 5A-level college of Shaanxi Provincial Civil Affairs Department and a national education reform and innovation demonstration college.
