What about her life and family? What is she thinking? This doubt can only be an imagination in endless nostalgia. If Murasaki shikibu could understand the feelings of readers who love her, she might simply say: Everything touched by emotion is just smoke.
1979, Tombu Murasaki was born into a middle-class aristocratic family with profound knowledge of Chinese studies. Her father Fujiwara was a famous scholar who studied China literature at that time. He was not only good at China's poems, but also wrote many excellent songs. Influenced by the family cultural atmosphere, Murasaki shikibu was not only familiar with China classics since childhood, but also good at musical instruments and painting. She got the title of "talented woman" when she was very young.
In the process of studying Sinology with Fujiwara, Murasaki shikibu was not only familiar with China's ancient documents since the pre-Qin period, but also read China's historical books such as Warring States Policy, Historical Records and Hanshu. And he especially likes Tang poetry, which makes him achieve a lot in Bai Juyi's poems.
The Heian period in which the Purple Army was located was a special period in Japanese history. After a period of stability, the imperial power fell into the hands of the Fujiwara family in big noble, and the era of "Regency and the White House" lasted for more than 200 years. The so-called "regent Guan Bai" means that when the emperor was young, the assistant minister was "regent", and when the emperor came of age, he assisted the emperor in governing the country, which was called "Guan Bai". In fact, "the politics of taking photos" is the rule of consorts. In order to consolidate the position of the photo family, Fujiwara married the emperor and made her daughter queen. As soon as the emperor was born, he forced the emperor to abdicate and let him ascend to the throne, so as to support the young emperor to monopolize the throne.
Due to polygamy, Fujiwara's family is prosperous and there can only be one "social official" in a certain period of time. In order to climb this high position of power, various branches of Fujiwara family launched fierce competition. In order to win the favor of the emperor and give birth to the prince, they competed to recruit talented women from famous families, served as attendants for their daughters, and helped them learn harmony songs, Chinese studies, playing the piano and practicing the piano, so as to cultivate aristocratic temperament and improve their social status. Under the influence of this situation, an era of paying special attention to women's training and education appeared in Japanese history, and talented people came forth in large numbers.
Because of his father, Murasaki shikibu had early contact with these female officials of Fujiwara family. Through these female officials, Murasaki shikibu experienced the luxurious life of an aristocratic family, which made her deeply feel from a middle-class aristocratic family. Later, due to the decline of family fortune, her heart was filled with great depression. As a Buddhist, she gradually developed a sensitive and cold understanding of people and society.
In 998, Murasaki shikibu obeyed his father's orders and married his father's friend, Fujiwara Xiao Xuan, a local official who was more than 20 years older than himself. At that time, Fujiwara Xiao Xuan had three wives. One year after their marriage, Murasaki shikibu gave birth to a daughter named Kenko Fujiwara. After three years of marriage, Fujiwara Xiao Xuan died of illness, and Murasaki shikibu lived a desolate and widowed life with his youngest daughter, Jianzi.
During her widowhood, Murasaki shikibu returned to pen and ink, and wrote her familiar poems and songs of China. During this period, she began to write the story of Genji and wrote some words one after another. These words later reached the hands of Fujiwara, the minister of the Communist Youth League, and were highly praised by him. 1005, Murasaki shikibu was recruited into the harem, became his daughter, a female official in the imperial palace, and taught her Chinese books such as The History of Japan, Bai Wenji, etc.
During this period, talented women of the same age as Haruki Murakami had the right to serve in the Ministry of Military Affairs, Qing Shaoran and Daogangmu. They wrote Diary of He Quan's Style Department, Pillow Grass, Dragonfly Diary and so on. Murasaki shikibu lived in the era of Japanese women's literature, which is a rare phenomenon in the history of world literature.
Haruki Murakami, once a widow, has a personal experience of the tragic fate of Japanese women under polygamy. As a female official, she often comes into contact with the upper class nobles. Murasaki shikibu has a profound experience and understanding of women's fate and court life, which provides a solid foundation for her creation of The Tale of Genji, and also makes the novel move towards a completely different content and style from that before entering the palace.
Prose literature, especially story literature, was very popular in Heian period. Before Haruki Murakami, a number of immature and complete storytelling works had begun to take shape, such as The Story of Wu, The Story of Yujin and the Story of Luowa, which provided reference for Haruki Murakami's creation. In addition, the appearance of Hiragana, especially when it was first mastered by women, also provided a powerful tool for Murasaki shikibu's creation.
The Tale of Genji has a total of * * * 54 times, with nearly one million words. The story happened in the turning point of the aristocratic society of the Heian Dynasty under the rule of Taoist Fujiwara. The story involves three generations of emperors and lasted for more than 70 years. There are more than 400 characters involved in the book, and about 30 people are impressed. The figures are mainly upper-level aristocrats, but also lower-level bureaucrats and ordinary people. The book is centered on Genji's family, and the first half writes about the love life of Genji's son. In the second half, Xunjun, the son of Genji's son, is the protagonist, laying out the complicated disputes between men and women. In terms of genre, this book is quite similar to China's Tang legends and Song scripts, but it is elegant and full of prose charm. Known as the Japanese version of a dream of red mansions.
When the Tale of Genji was written is still inconclusive. Researchers generally believe that the book was written in 10 14 years. Two years after writing this book, Murasaki shikibu died. Text/Wang Guangbo
