Epitaph of Xiao Siliang in Tang Dynasty
The Epitaph of Xiao Siliang, carved by Tang Jingyun in the second year (7 1 1), was cut and mounted in eight petals. Each opening is 29 cm long and 27 cm wide. This inscription was made on February 15th, the second year of Tang Jingyun (7 1 1). It was unearthed in Xi 'an during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Small block letters, with fine strokes and graceful posture, were rated as masterpieces of epitaphs in the Tang Dynasty by Yang Shoujing. The word "Tang" in the first line of this book is intact, and the word "Ju" in the last line is intact, which is an old rubbings in the middle of Qing Dynasty.
