Coriander (Coriander) can be cultivated all year round, and spring is the most suitable. Just select the planting soil.
Cultivation techniques:
Spiny coriander can be sown throughout the year, but spring is the most suitable.
Spiny coriander likes warmth, fertilizer and humidity, so it should be planted in loose and fertile loam that is ventilated and light-transmissive, has easy drainage and irrigation.
Spread farmyard manure before preparing the land, plow the land deeply and then make a border with a width of 1m. Because the seeds are small, you can mix the seeds with fine sand evenly before sowing to facilitate even sowing.
The soil particles on the border surface should be finely crushed before sowing. After sowing, step on the border surface firmly with your feet to make the seeds and soil closely combined. Then cover with 0.3cm thick fine soil and water thoroughly.
After emergence, water once a day in the morning to keep the relative soil humidity at 70% to 80%.
The true leaves of spiny coriander grow slowly after emergence. When there are 2 true leaves, timely top dressing is required. Topdressing with thin human feces or biogas slurry is done once every 10 days, and can be applied continuously for 2~ 3 times.
When the plant grows to 5 to 6 true leaves, it can be harvested for the first time in combination with thinning. During harvesting, it is uprooted, washed and sold as a whole plant, and then thinned again.
The last time the seedlings are planted, the spacing between plants should be 20cm square. The seedlings can also be transplanted. The spacing between planting rows should be 25cm and the spacing between plants should be 20cm.
One month after the seedlings are established or transplanted, the outer leaves of the plants can be harvested one after another. Top-dressing is done after every 2 to 3 harvests. The top-dressing is mainly nitrogen fertilizer, which can control water. Pour 300 times the amount of urea water.
Spiny coriander has strong disease resistance and rarely suffers from diseases. The main pests are aphids.
After autumn, coriander enters the flowering and fruiting period. The seeds can be harvested 40 days after flowering. Since the seeds are very small and easy to be blown away by the wind, you can cut off the flower stems when collecting seeds, dry them, and rub them. After sieving, bag and store in a cool place for later use.
