Wulingyuan Natural Scenic Area, which consists of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxiyu Scenic Area, Tian Zi Scenic Area and Yang Jiajie Nature Reserve, has been included in the World Natural Heritage List.

Special cuisine: When you come to Zhangjiajie, you must try the most ethnic Tujia cuisine. Tujia cuisine in Zhangjiajie not only maintains the national flavor that has lasted for hundreds of years, but also integrates the essence of Hunan cuisine. This kind of integration can't help but make people's appetite open and their mouths water. In addition to the spicy Hunan cuisine, Tujia people also like to eat wax, acid and kimchi. Therefore, if you want to appreciate the authentic flavor of Tujia cuisine, you have to order authentic dishes such as preserved pig's head, "Tuannian cuisine", blood tofu, sour fish, loach and tofu.

Therefore, it is suggested that you can bring your own food to eat in the scenic spot, and you can eat in the urban area after visiting the scenic spot, especially at night, the streets are full of food stalls in the night market, which has a strong sense of life. Liye, located in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain in Hunan Province, at the junction of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing and Guizhou provinces, belongs to Longshan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. People lived there as early as 6000 years ago. Although there are magical natural scenery and peculiar ethnic customs, due to inconvenient transportation, the economy and culture have been relatively backward, and it is a remote town. But it's also because it's remote and nobody bothers me. I live a good life at leisure.

Among Xiangxi snacks, rice tofu is very representative. This popular food made of polished rice has always been the favorite of people in western Hunan. On the way to the market, there will be rice tofu stalls at the bridge, pavilion and shade. People here are used to eating a bowl of rice tofu to satisfy their hunger and thirst when they go to the streets and go to the market, and have a rest and chat. The simple and unsophisticated folk customs and the endless Danxia Wanfo Mountain are the key to the complete life of ethnic minorities here, which has hardly been destroyed. Compared with shangri-la, it is not good at all.

Food features: Dong people are generally used to cooking all day in the morning and taking them up the mountain to eat. Among them, the "steamed rice" made by Xianghe rice is particularly sweet, and there is a saying that "a steamed rice is fragrant in the whole village". The tea that Dong people drink refers to camellia oleifera, which is a thick soup made of tea, popcorn, fried peanuts, crisp soybeans, glutinous rice, meat, pig water, salt, chopped green onion and tea oil. It can not only quench thirst, but also satisfy hunger. Accompanied by rice and tea, there are vegetables, fresh fish, meat, melons and fruits, game, fungi and drinks, and the food sources are extensive.

7. Qianyang Ancient City

Hongjiang city Qianyang Ancient Town, surrounded by water on three sides, is an important town at the junction of Hunan, Chu and Miao Di, which is 100 years earlier than Dayan Ancient Town in Lijiang, Yunnan, and 900 years earlier than Fenghuang Ancient Town in Hunan. This is a place where historical sites coexist with real life: ancient houses are densely packed, the sound of chickens and dogs is endless, and some old people sit in the old street in twos and threes, smoking, drinking tea or playing, which is ominous.

Eating wind-blown sweet potatoes in the New Year is a custom handed down from Qianyang, a thousand-year-old city. The villagers hung sweet potatoes under the eaves, letting the wind blow the red peppers under the eaves, the ancient city of Qianyang and a spider web, which concentrated the light and shadow for more than 2000 years. The "power" iron lock can lock the vicissitudes of wooden doors, but it can't lock the massiness of history, and it can't lock the footsteps of drifting home.

Food specialties: Zhijiang duck, Dongxiang preserved fish and bacon, stone carving, Nuo mask, Dong brocade and Lusheng; Eat a bowl of Huaihua rice noodles with a particularly fragrant heavy oil and visit this ancient town that has existed for more than 2,200 years and has a leisurely life.

8. Explore the ancient village of Gaoyi

Gaoyi Ancient Village is located on the banks of Wushui River in Huitong County, Hunan Province. It used to be a land and water transportation hub, and it was also the only place on the smoky road in history. The roads connecting every household and village are criss-crossed, like a net and a maze. People in the village usually only take a few main roads, and many buildings are connected, but no one dares to walk. Even the local old people may not know whose house every road in the village leads to. Even our own people don't know where the road is. Due to the complex terrain, this village has never been invaded by bandits for hundreds of years.

Huitong navel orange is very famous. It is necessary to eat oranges in Hunan during the Spring Festival. In your hometown, you can rarely buy bad oranges. Once peeled off, the hands are full of sweet and sour aftertaste.

Shanggantang Village is located in Xiazipu Town, 25 kilometers southwest of Jiangyong County, Yongzhou City. The whole village is surrounded by mountains and waters, east and west, with Pingfeng Mountain in the east and the clear Xiemu River in front of the village, forming an excellent feng shui closure. The house built in the late Qing Dynasty, an acre of rape field, is not deliberately beautiful, but impressive, and it is poetry and rivers and lakes in life.

Because the land here is rich in selenium, the special products here are all related to the word "Xiang": Are these pomelo, taro, fragrant ginger, fragrant rice and mushrooms all found in big cities? Perhaps only by staying away from the bustling, noisy and crowded and returning to the true colors of nature can we smell the fragrance and return to the hometown of human body and mind.

To get into the crowded women's alley and walk through the alley where only one person can pass, it is the narrowest alley in the whole ancient village. You might as well walk and look up at the towering walls on both sides and the blue sky overhead. Stroll on the English Bridge, listen to the sound of running water under your feet, look at the ancient buildings inside, and lament the progress of the times and the changes of society. Maiqiao is the only ancient bridge in Song Dynasty discovered in Hunan Province so far.

Standing on the high observation deck, the dignified and exquisite terraces are displayed in front of us: the hazy drizzle turns the surrounding mountains into an ink and wash landscape background painting, and the farmhouses that emerge from time to time in the middle of the terraces are looming in the fog. Looking down from a distance, the terraced fields filled with water are sparkling and dotted.
