Studying abroad has brought me new learning experience and educational methods

The biggest feature of English classroom is that teachers will increase the opportunities for many students to study independently, and teachers will assign tasks such as group work, case study and presentation, such as my research method course. The task assigned by teachers is to complete a report in groups. We need to find the information by ourselves, design the questionnaire and finalize it under the guidance of the teacher, distribute the questionnaire on campus by ourselves, and then analyze and summarize the data to complete our report. In this process, my speaking ability, reading and writing ability and teamwork ability have naturally improved.

Studying abroad has made me know warm teachers and classmates

The teachers in our school are also very enthusiastic. After knowing that our major is Chinese international education, we invited teachers from Germany to explain the advantages and disadvantages of different systems to us. In these activities, I feel that not all the knowledge comes from the classroom, and my divergent learning after class can better cultivate a person's ability to study.

The most noteworthy thing is that the school arranged for us to practice at the local Confucius Institute and work as language assistants in two local girls' high schools.

With the teachers with rich teaching experience, I can personally understand the problems that will be encountered in the teaching process and learn a lot of valuable practical teaching experience and methods. What moved me even more was that at Christmas, the whole class cooperated to make a Christmas card for me, with the names of the instructor and the whole class and their blessings on me.

Studying abroad makes me braver and love life more

Britain is famous for its cloudy and rainy days, but Plymouth, the southern coastal city where I live, has more sunny days. Plymouth is a city with a rich history of navigation and a major port city in Britain.

The people here are very gentlemanly and enthusiastic, and my host's landlady will study the recipe and make me a special chili pepper chicken with my taste.

The teachers in the school will also help us answer all kinds of questions about life and study. The teachers invited me to participate in the interview and recording of the school's promotional film, and with the help of the teachers, I also received the admission notices of graduate students from universities such as Edinburgh and Durham.

On holidays, I will also travel to other British cities, see Big Ben and Harry Potter Station in London, take photos under the distinctive graffiti wall in Bristol, and enjoy the delicate sunrise and water lilies of Monet in Cardiff, the capital of Wales. Feel the differences between Chinese and western cultures and experience different historical and humanistic environments while walking. In our spare time, we will also have dinner together and cook a delicious Chinese meal in a foreign country.

To be honest, just a few words can't describe my study and life here. What's the point of studying abroad? I think although it can't be directly and immediately converted into material returns, it has brought me countless spiritual wealth. By exploring in a completely strange land with unfamiliar language, I can feel that I am growing every day. There are too many magnificent scenery on the way to study abroad, and those things left an indelible mark on their hearts. It will tell you that the world is wider than you think.

There are also many younger brothers and sisters who are hesitant. Should I go? May I? In fact, I believe that as long as you are willing to make efforts, nothing is an excuse, and you will find that you are much stronger than you think. The life of studying abroad keeps me moving forward and feeling the difference of the world, so that I can have the truest sense of existence, a more humble attitude and a more open-minded mind.

Finally, if you happen to see this sharing and want to experience a different cultural environment and feel a different academic atmosphere, I just want to tell you: Just do it, just be part of it! Why not try it?
