The Western Han Dynasty belonged to Hedong County of Lisi Department, and Fennan was Zuoyi County (now Wenxi); Beifen belongs to Chang Xiu County (now Xinjiang). The south of Fen is Jishan Pavilion and the northeast of the county is Jishan Pavilion.
In the Eastern Han Dynasty, Zuo Yi and Chang Xiu counties were abandoned, Pixian (now Hejin) was located in the north of Fen, and wenxi county was located in the south of Fen. Today, the county is a chicken pavilion, and Fennan is a chicken mountain pavilion.

After Zhou Xun was revoked, it moved to Jiangzhou.
In the 18th year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (598), Jiangzhou's rule was moved from Yubi to Zhengping (now Xinjiang) and became a general county. Gaoliang County was changed to Jishan County, and the city was built in the north of Fenhe River (now this county), belonging to the general county.

In August of the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), Jishan County was abolished, and Jishan County was restored to its original organizational system, which was still under the jurisdiction of the 10th Jinsui Special Administration. The following year, it was changed to Jinnan Administrative Supervision Department, and in March it was under the jurisdiction of Yuncheng Commissioner's Office.
1954, Yuncheng and Linfen merged into Jinnan Department, below the county level.
1958 10, most areas of Jishan county, Hejin county and Wanrong county, as well as Xipo of Xiangning county and Wei Zhuang commune, were unified into Jishan county and were subordinate to Jinnan institutions.
1July, 959, the original Wanrong County was placed under the Jishan site and separated. 196 1 February, precipitation in Hejin County; Xipo and Wei Zhuang Commune returned to their hometowns, and Jishan County was restored to its original appearance. .
