He visited China in the 1990s and became the first Japanese emperor to visit China in Japanese history.

However, after seeing the menu, Emperor Akihito proposed to remove one dish, namely hairy crabs. Although Emperor Akihito thinks hairy crabs are delicious, they may be unsightly because they are not convenient to eat. However, some right-wingers in Japan are likely to make a fuss about it and then achieve their ultimate goal and undermine this peaceful and friendly visit.
