Brief introduction of Guankou town
Guankou Town belongs to Dujiangyan City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and is named after it is located at the mouth of Dujiangyan irrigation canal, a famous water conservancy project. Its town history can be traced back to the Southern and Northern Dynasties 1600 years ago, and it is one of the birthplaces of ancient Bashu culture. The town covers an area of 16.70 square kilometers, with a non-agricultural population of 65,000. It is the political, economic, cultural and transportation center of Dujiangyan City. With a long history, prosperous economy, convenient transportation, developed communication and abundant energy, it can be described as the first town in the west of Rongcheng, with the reputation of "being separated from the river and connected with the sky, half the city, half the water and half the mountain". 20 14 With the approval of Sichuan Provincial People's Government, Dujiangyan City adjusted some administrative divisions. Cancel Guankou Town and Xingfu Town, and set up five sub-district offices: Guankou Street, Xingfu Street, Yinxing Street, Yongfeng Street and Kuiguangta Street.
