When I was young, I was too tight to care about my superiors and subordinates. Thrift has become a habit and wages are not high.
When I am old, I feel that my hands are a little loose, and I also feel that it is not easy for children to find money. There are still many things to do, such as spending money everywhere, buying a house, studying, getting married and having children. I really have a big head.
When people get old, their problems come out again. We have to make some preparations. Anyway, there is no day to relax, just wear vegetables and cabbage clothes!
Our national conditions and savings are a little different, so let's live!
Thrift is also a good habit!
First, the old man is used to frugality all his life. After retirement, you don't have much money, but you should be frugal when the price is expensive.
Second, saving some money feels safe. Seeing a doctor is too expensive to get sick or die.
Third, it is difficult for young people to earn money now. Help them.
The elderly have retired. Although they have a pension, the family burden is heavier. Children, houses, cars, grandchildren, education and hospitals are all reaching out! Alas! It's really hard! Not without thrift!
By June this year 10, I had retired 1 year. I am not an old man. I was born in 70, but I'm really much more frugal than when I was at work. I don't mean to be frugal, but my life circle has become smaller, and there is nothing unnecessary to retire. For example, I attended the wedding of my classmates and children this summer and bought a suit specially, but I only wore that suit twice a summer, hehe, and then it was autumn. It's not that I can't bear to wear it, it's that I don't. How to dress comfortably at home, there is no need to wear skirts in and out, but also to hold out your chest and abdomen, with just the right light makeup. So since retirement, the desire to shop has been greatly reduced, and money has naturally been saved.
There is also a reason for thrift, because after retirement, I have basically lost my ability to make money, and I can't open up sources, so I can only cut costs. The salaries of retirees vary greatly. Although they have medical insurance, they must plan for their future pension. I don't have any savings in my hand. If I am sick and lie in bed, I can't reach out and ask my children for money. One is that the children have to live, and the other is that their own money has been spent.
However, thrift belongs to thrift, the quality of life must be guaranteed, and eating well and sleeping well and being healthy are the capital of the revolution. The rest of my life is not about where to travel, who buys a big house and how much it costs to buy a bag, but about health.
Most of those frugal people are 30 to 60 years old, which is caused by the times and living environment. In the past, the poor were too scared to eat enough and wear warm clothes. Even though their living conditions are good, they have formed a habit and are unwilling to waste. My mother-in-law is over 80, so she can't bear to spend money and throw away the leftovers. She always said I was defeated. She also has a 68-year-old uncle who has a salary, savings and two suites. She is more capable than the young man every morning, driving a tricycle and renting it. In the past, poor people had no money, but now they are happy to have money, and it doesn't matter if they are tired. Now the post-70 s are much better than them, and they are not so frugal. Most of them know how to enjoy life when conditions permit.
My parents are like this, because their generation has suffered.
Young people form habits and leave a deep impression in their hearts. In fact, life should change its thinking mode and consumption habits with the improvement of economic situation or young economic pressure. The biggest consumption of the elderly is to seek medical treatment. On the premise of ensuring this, we must stop spending. Life is short, be kind to yourself conditionally.
I'm retiring soon. Tell me my opinion. I can discuss it and refuse to attack.
The first is the economic situation. Many people are not rich when they retire, and they or their children have mortgages, or they and their children are simply in poor economic conditions.
Secondly, thrift has become a habit. How many years of habits have become natural, what's more, when you get older, your desire decreases and your impulse to spend money decreases.
Third, there is a lack of confidence in the stability of later life, which will not happen until a certain age. A man is seventy or eighty years old, and he has not been allowed to earn money to support himself or subsidize his family. It is better to be frugal.
Many old people around me are really like this. Obviously, they are not short of food and clothing, but they are still extremely frugal. Why?
First, when I was young, I had a hard life. I was short of clothes and food, and I had to spend a penny. I have developed the habit of frugality, which has penetrated into the bone marrow. Even if you are old and have no worries about food and clothing, this frugal spirit will not change.
Second, I'd rather suffer by myself than make my children live better. Even if their children have grown up and some families have successful careers, they are obviously not short of money, but the elderly are still willing to add icing on the cake to them. That's what my parents do. Brothers and sisters are not rich or expensive, but they are all ok, at least better than the last one. We always tell our parents not to scrimp and save and eat whatever they want, but they still buy things cheaply. So instead of giving money to our parents, we buy things for them.
Third, most elderly people are reluctant to eat and wear, and they are frugal because they are afraid that they will be too old to look down on the disease and have no money. It is very expensive to see a doctor now. I have a headache and a fever. It costs hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get an intravenous drip. What can I do without money? Other elderly people feel that their children can't count on it, have no money at hand, and have no bottom in their hearts. In order not to expect children or look at their faces, they have to have money themselves. Saving money for the elderly is the idea of most elderly people.
It has become a habit for the old man to be frugal all his life. Clothes can be worn at any time, new clothes are at the bottom of the box. Maybe I didn't wear it many times until I died. The furniture used is more coping and making do. What you eat is not high-end things, but basically mass consumption. Young people earn less money and spend it at home. You don't want to spend your pension when you are old. Finally, you will give it to your children. However, if children expect the elderly to leave the money, it is really not enough. Therefore, it is remarkable that the elderly live a good life and don't ask their children for money to support the elderly.
No one is born frugal. Who doesn't know the benefits of spending money if it is not forced by life? Who doesn't want to improve the quality of life? The pension is too small to do anything. Is there any way to save money?
