Actually, I think it's better than Mexican food, but the reason why Peru and its food are not as famous as Mexican food is the United States.
The United States likes to make Mexico popular all over the country. The history of Mexico introduced in textbooks is not very long, and there are Mexican restaurants everywhere, and so on.
As we all know, almost all countries below Mexico are not very popular, such as Guatemala entering Central America, and then Colombia going to South America. In the United States, countries lower than Mexico are almost ignored, which is why a better country like Peru is ignored a lot.
But in terms of diversity, history and overall cuisine, I will definitely go to Peru.
Peru is very popular in other countries. Japanese, China, Italian, French and even African countries like to mix Peruvian local ingredients with other countries' cuisines. That's why there are Arroz Chaufa and Chifa in China, Nikkei in Japan, green pasta in Italy and so on.
Peru is still famous for its food, although the country is ignored by many people, especially in the American media. This reminds me that Peru will become one of the most popular countries in the world if Peru and Mexico are transposed.
Peruvian food is better because it is delicious.
To be honest, I have tasted a lot of Mexican food, but this is not special to me, because there are Mexican restaurants almost everywhere in the United States.
Not to mention, the obesity rate in Peru is lower than that in Mexico, where there are much more organic foods. Mexico ranks high in a country's obesity rate, while Peru is still high in the central region.
Peruvian food is much more delicious than Mexican food, which is enough for foreign gourmets to compete with Peru and make real delicious food.
Peru doesn't even need foreign countries to cook delicious food, because the Moshe civilization in Peru calls this dish "pickled fish in lime juice", which is a symbol of Peru's current national cuisine, mainly seafood dishes, including lime, sweet potato, Andean corn, potatoes and Cancun. Add these and you will get famous Peruvian dishes.
There are also many dishes on the coast of Peru. There are different styles of food in different parts of Peru. As far as the coast of Peru is concerned, we also have pickled fish in lime juice, Lomo Saltado, Anticuchos, Papa a La Huancaina and so on.
The Andes also have local dishes and foods, such as potatoes, guinea pigs and other Inca-style local delicacies. You can find local food with Inca flavor in Cuzco, Peru and other Andean regions.
Amazon also has its own indigenous Amazon food, mainly exotic Amazon fish in Iquitos Nature Reserve, perhaps bedbugs, and other large Amazon fish.
Peru is an incredible country, especially in terms of food, far better than Mexico.
