K·C· Jones's 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games

After the All-Star Game in 1956, Jones was selected by the national basketball team for the Melbourne Olympic Games. This is the second arena for KC- Jones and Bill Russell after NCAA, and it is also the second stage for Jones and Russell to win. The American men's basketball team dominated the arena, winning the gold medal with a net victory of 53.5 points in eight games. The eight matches are:

preliminary round group A:

USA vs Japan: 98-4

USA vs Thailand: 11-29

USA vs Philippines: 121-53

quarterfinal group B:

USA vs Bulgaria: 84-44

USA vs. United: 89-55

Jones believes that playing for the country is more important than representing the university team and the NBA team, and the Olympic gold medal is the most important honor.
