The school offers 12 majors, such as application of numerical control technology, mold manufacturing technology, automobile operation and maintenance, installation and operation of intelligent building equipment, computer network technology, computer application, animation and game making, accounting affairs, cross-border electronic commerce, logistics service and management, art design and making, and social culture and art.
Among them, CNC, automobile and computer network are provincial key majors, CNC is the national training base for talents in short supply, and the automobile and CNC training centers are all state-level training centers supported by the central government, while CNC, automobile, computer network and logistics are the key construction majors of the national secondary vocational model school.

Shenzhen Longgang Vocational and Technical School was founded in 1994, formerly known as Shenzhen Longgang Secondary Technical School (referred to as Longgang Secondary Technical School), and merged with Shenzhen Longgang Adult Secondary Technical School in 1997. In 2002, it merged with Shenzhen Buji Vocational and Technical School and was renamed Shenzhen Longgang Vocational and Technical School. In 2004, it became a national key secondary vocational school. 20 18 was designated as "National Model School for the Reform and Development of Secondary Vocational Education" by the Ministry of Education on September 27th.
