Han Yu
Huainan is sad, and I am alone in autumn.
Don't say goodbye to old friends, it's embarrassing.
Glory is different today, and the wind and rain are the same.
If you don't go far from Yichun (2), mountains and rivers are better than many lines.
Note ① Ancestral banquet: farewell banquet. At the beginning of the Yuan Dynasty, Wang Ya was implicated and demoted because his nephew Huang Fulong violated the Prime Minister. Han Yu and Wang Ya were scholars in the same year and had a friendship with Huang Huanglong, so they wrote Zuxi as a gift from the two prime ministers. (Duoyichun: place name, belonging to the Yuanshui River Basin in Jiangxi Province.
China's classical poems are often vivid and ethereal. The poem "Love and Harmony" echoes "Nakan" and expresses three emotions: ① having a lover who is sad for autumn is one of the pains; (2) In this sad season, parting is the second bitter thing; (3) The worry of being an official is the third bitterness. Emotion is passed down from layer to layer, and it gets deeper and deeper.
It's just that Bo's famous sentences "However, China holds our friendship, and heaven is still our neighbor" and "Don't take Yichun as a distant place, mountains and rivers will win more trips" all express deep affection for friends. In Zuxi, the poet advised his friends to be open-minded and optimistic. There are not only feelings of comfort, but also suggestions on how to solve mental problems for friends. It is richer, warmer and more touching than Wang's poems, and simply expresses the meaning that the body can be centrifugal and similar.
