1951July 17, Taizhou District Commissioner's Office of Subei People's Administration issued a document. In order to implement the educational policy of "consolidation, transformation and improvement" and concentrate manpower and material resources on running the school well, it was decided to merge the two remaining junior high schools in Qintong, northern Jiangsu with the private Han Rong junior high school and rename it Jiangyan junior high school in northern Jiangsu (1952). On July 29th, the first meeting of the school-building committee was held in the conference room of Taixian government, and the organization of the merged school was established, and the work plan of the merged school was formulated. Jiangyan middle school has achieved a historic transformation from a private school to a public school, and has since entered the fast lane of development. By the fall semester of 195 1, the school had 8 classes, 42 faculty members and 5 12 students. 1952 has 12 classes, with 62 faculty members and 7 students. (/p/4008008 18)
