Shouxian is one of the first three cities in Anhui Province to be selected as a national historical and cultural city, with four capitals and 10 counties in history. This is the hometown of Chu culture, the birthplace of China tofu, and the ancient battlefield of Feishui War. It is called "underground museum". Shouchun Chu Culture Museum has more than 60 national first-class cultural relics/kloc-0, and more than 2,000 second-and third-class cultural relics.

Shouxian has two national AAAA-level scenic spots and six national key cultural relics protection units (Anfengtang, Shouxian Ancient City Wall, Shouxian Confucius Temple, Mosque, Shouchun City Site, Huainan King's Tomb). Shouxian County is also one of the seven key tourist cities in Anhui Province.

Anfengtang, called Qupi in ancient times, also known as Qisibei, is an important water conservancy project in Huaihe River Basin of China, located in the middle of Shouxian County, Huainan City, Anhui Province. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Sun Shuai, Prime Minister of Chu State, was built in Chu Zhuangwang from 17 to 23 years (597 BC-59 BC1year), which was called "the first pond in the world" in ancient times.

Together with Dujiangyan, Zhanghe and Zheng Guoqu, it is called the four major water conservancy projects in ancient China. Anfeng County was established after Sui and Tang Dynasties. So it's called Anfengtang.

1988, the State Council was declared as a national key cultural relics protection unit. It is also a national first-class water source protection site. 20151kloc-0/3 in Montpellier, France, Cheng Junhua, the county magistrate of Shouxian County, accepted the World Irrigation Project Heritage Certificate. Anfengtang (Shaobei) has since become the first world irrigation project heritage in Anhui Province.

Hongji Temple in Shouxian County, Anhui Province is a Buddhist temple in the Tang Dynasty. This temple was built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and was presided over by Master Xuanzang. It has a history of 1300 years. In the center of the courtyard is the Song Tower Underground Palace, which was originally a brick tower with nine levels of relics in the Northern Song Dynasty, but collapsed after six levels. The remaining three floors were demolished on 1977 because they endangered the safety of tourists. In the Qing Dynasty, the underground palace under the tower was discovered, which contained precious cultural relics such as painted murals and gold and silver coffins. There are two thousand-year-old ginkgo trees in the courtyard, which cover the sky and the sun, hiding the magnificent Hall of Great Heroes and the East-West Gallery in the shade. The trees are all 1300 years old and are national first-class cultural relics. The total area of the whole temple is 14700 square meters, which is second to none on the land of Jianghuai with its large scale and magnificent architecture.

The tomb of Huainan King is located 2 kilometers north of Shouxian County, with water in the south and Bagong Mountain in the north. The tomb is located on the south slope of Laomushan in tuanjie village, Bagongshan Township. The tomb is bucket-shaped, with a height of 20m and a circumference of1.20m.. In front of the tomb stands a tablet inscribed by Wu Kunxiu, the governor of Anhui Province in the eighth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, entitled "The Tomb of Liu 'an, King of Hannan". There are Shinto stone steps and pillars.

1July, 986, Anhui Provincial People's Government announced it as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit. 20 13 was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
