Tree frog is not only a leader in frog world, but also has a unique physiological structure. First of all, its body is very petite, only 50 ~ 70 mm long from beginning to end. Professor of Biology Department of Taiwan Province Normal University took students to Taipei to investigate amphibian ecology, and camped in Emerald Valley next to Emerald Reservoir at night. At night, they heard a strange frog croak, so everyone curiously followed the sound with flashlights, and finally found a frog croak in a bucket next to a farmer. That is a particularly lovely frog: the whole body is green as jade, and there are many fine verrucous stripes of grass green and yellow-green on the frog's back. The prominent big eyes exude golden luster and look like jade carvings. Neither the professor nor his students could find the name of the frog, and finally they sent it to the French Museum of Natural History for identification. Through the research of many biologists, it is confirmed that this is a new species of tree frog that has never been discovered before. Because this kind of tree frog looks like jade, it was first discovered in the jade reservoir, so it was named "Jade Tree Frog".

There is also a tree frog in Australia, which has an adsorbed meat pad on its toes. Like geckos, they climb trees like flat ground and eat insects and snails on them. Trees grow on trees and make them their homes.
