Steaming Yuzhou braised pork

Step 1

Third step

Add water to the pot, put the vermicelli into the pot and cook for about five minutes until the water level is about one centimeter higher than the vermicelli.

Fourth step

Cool the cooked vermicelli for a while and stir it with the batter.

By the way, add salt, thirteen spices, soy sauce and chopped green onion, knead and stir repeatedly by hand, so that the batter and vermicelli are fully mixed, and be careful to burn your hands during the process.

Spread a layer of cabbage leaves or other big leaf vegetables on the steamer to avoid sticking to the cooker and leaking.

Spread the mixed materials in a steamer covered with vegetable leaves, with a thickness of about 3 cm. If it's thick, it's hard to cook.

The fire started to steam. My 26C steamer steamed two drawers, so it took about an hour. Because of the poor air permeability of the two layers, it is difficult for the upper steam to reach. 40 minutes is better. If the material is divided in half and steamed in a drawer, it will take about 40 minutes!
