Step 4: Solve yam: Take stewed ribs as an example, let's deal with 1 iron stick yam. Iron stick yam is thin and long. If they are folded into three sections, yam mucus will be particularly itchy if it is accidentally stuck on your hand. Therefore, be very careful when peeling yam. You can wear rubber gloves or plastic bags and wash the dust on the surface of yam first.
Then peel the yam. You can peel the yam in water to prevent the yam from contacting with gas, and the surface will be oxidized and discolored by air. Peeling in water will make yam particularly white. Then, cut the peeled yam into hob blocks with the same size and put them in a plate for later use. If you like carrots, you can also prepare carrot pieces.
When the ribs are almost stewed, add the sliced yam into the ribs soup, cover and stew for 20 minutes. You can add a small amount of edible salt 5 minutes in advance to taste, and the stewed juice is almost the same. If you like soup, you can leave more soup.
