(2) Patients with extensive abdominal infection or severe burns cannot be intubated.
Relative contraindications: (1) The wound does not heal within 3 days after abdominal surgery, and the incision leaks during peritoneal dialysis;
(2) There are localized inflammatory foci in peritoneum, and peritoneal dialysis can spread inflammation;
(3) In the third trimester of pregnancy or huge tumor in abdominal cavity, the effect of peritoneal dialysis is not ideal due to the decrease of abdominal cavity volume;
(4) Vascular diseases in abdominal cavity, such as vasculitis, severe arteriosclerosis and scleroderma, will reduce dialysis efficiency;
(5) Severe respiratory insufficiency, and excessive liquid intake will aggravate respiratory insufficiency. For example, the amount of liquid infiltrating into the abdomen is less;
(6) Long-term protein and insufficient calorie intake are not suitable for long-term peritoneal dialysis, because peritoneal dialysis loses more than 6 grams of protein every day.
