The Tibetan name of Wang Yaoshan in Lhasa is Jiabori, which means "a mountain in the corner of a mountain". It's on the right side of Potala Palace in Lhasa. At an altitude of 3725 meters, there is a path leading to the summit. There is a sapphire Buddha statue in Wang Yao, so the Han people call it Wang Yao Temple, also known as Wang Yao.
brief introduction
Wang Yaoshan is close to Potala Palace, which is the best angle to shoot Potala Palace, especially halfway up the mountain. In the early morning in Wang Yao, you can often see some photographers gathered here, waiting for the first ray of sunshine to illuminate the Potala Palace.
Behind Mount Wang Yao is the famous Ten Thousand Buddha Wall in Lhasa, and there are many people carving Mani stone nearby. Go south from a path in the east of Tibet Tourism Bureau.
