Materials:
-Tangyuan:
-200g glutinous rice flour
-150ml warm water
-Appropriate amount of cocoa powder (about 1-2 tablespoons)
-Chocolate filling:
-100g dark chocolate (chopped)
-50 ml whipped cream
-Strawberry stuffing:
-150g fresh strawberry (chopped)
-1-2 tablespoons sugar (depending on the sweetness of strawberries)
Steps:
1. Prepare tangyuan dough. In a large bowl, add glutinous rice flour and warm water and stir well until a soft dough is formed.
2. Divide the dough into two parts. Add cocoa powder to a portion of dough and stir well to make chocolate-flavored dough.
3. Knead a small piece of chocolate dough and a small piece of raw dough into a dumpling.
4. Put the dark chocolate block into a bowl, pour in the hot whipped cream, and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and mixed evenly to form a chocolate filling.
5. Put the chopped strawberries and sugar into another bowl, and stir evenly to make them blend and give full play to their sweetness to form strawberry stuffing.
6. Put the chocolate stuffing and strawberry stuffing into two small bowls respectively.
7. Squeeze the chocolate and the original glutinous rice balls gently, put the stuffing in the middle, seal them and knead them into the shape of glutinous rice balls.
8. Boil a pot of water and put the glutinous rice balls in boiling water. After boiling, continue to cook for 3-5 minutes until jiaozi floats and is cooked.
9. Remove the cooked glutinous rice balls with a strainer and rinse with cold water to remove excess starch. Drain and set aside.
10. You can sprinkle a proper amount of cocoa powder or powdered sugar on the cooked jiaozi to add beauty.
Now, the delicious chocolate strawberry jiaozi is ready! You can eat them as a dessert or snack. Enjoy this sweet combination!
