Shopping in the vegetable market has almost become my great hobby. Every day before dawn, I listen to the electric tricycles of small vendors passing by, thinking that they are selling people every day, regardless of the wind and rain, tirelessly, just to make a living.

After retirement, I not only managed our meals, but also contracted three meals a day for my daughter's family. For the sake of eating and drinking health for three generations, the vegetable market has become a place that I can't avoid every day.

The morning market in Hedong, Qinhuangdao Harbor District has a history of several decades. Since we moved to the coal port, the exquisite dishes on the table have always come from here. Although the venue of the vegetable market has changed several times, vendors and customers have always been inseparable. Wherever you go, I will follow you, just like the two sides signed a mutually beneficial and win-win agreement in advance.

At five o'clock in the morning, traders who worked hard for horses and chariots arrived in place one after another, unloading goods, setting up stalls, greeting and waiting for people to patronize. After 6: 0 1, the morning exercise is over. If people like us rush into the market, people coming and going will cross the river like crucian carp. Some people walk home with big bags after buying vegetables, some people just come out from home with suitcases that bought laundry detergent, and some people carry vegetables in one hand and a pot of flowers in the other. Whenever I meet such a person, I have to look twice. I always feel that such a person who loves life and knows how to decorate life should enjoy my attention.

The morning market lines up from north to south. The stalls selling fish, vegetables, dried and fresh fruits, dried salted duck and braised pork are basically the same all year round. There are also some miscellaneous things, such as bedding, medicinal liquor, herbs and dogskin plaster, shirts of Butou 10 yuan 20 yuan, and small commodities are one yuan each.

Under normal circumstances, I only patronize the vegetable and fruit stalls, and I can't say how well I know the vendors. I'm just embarrassed Mix too well, individual vendors are easy to cheat on the weight of food, and you are not good at poking a peep show with his common sense, which virtually condones the evil side of human nature. Half-baked business relationship, today he sells it "hard" and tomorrow he deliberately buys it from the vegetable vendor next to him. Naturally, he understands that his little trick has damaged his small business and is good for the long-term interests of the vegetable vendor.

I like the vegetable farmers' stalls in the countryside, where there are often bundles of surprises that make people shine. For example, in early spring, there are Toona sinensis, wild onions, spinach that can't be tender, leeks that can't be fragrant, and primitive shepherd's purse and bracken. ...

I bought a handful of wild onions tied with straw. When I saw wild onions, I naturally saw the spring in the wild, the land in southern Xinjiang, and the leaking wasteland where the old parents in the countryside were covered with grass. There are goose eggs on the stall not far away, and fist-sized eggs are lying in a pile of rice bran. The lie that rural chickens don't lay eggs and geese lay eggs near the airport was debunked by facts. Villagers don't wash eggs, and the washed eggs stink for several days, so all the eggs they see are just like when they were born. Without exception, they all have to bring some feces, even the first egg in spring, and their eyes are still bloodshot! From these eggs, you can naturally see the geese and ducks swaying by the Lotus Lake in your hometown. Buy some, be sure to buy some. Scramble eggs with wild onions at noon, so that the whole family can taste the taste of spring and hometown.

The tofu stand attracted my attention. Tender tofu is placed in a rectangular wooden tray, and the neat square tofu is covered with gauze, which faintly provokes people's appetite. Seeing these tofu, I naturally thought of the tofu made by the production team that year. In the dim kitchen, someone is adding firewood to the stove, and the rising hot air is flowing with tofu. I can't help bending over to smell the tofu. If it's tofu with brine, I have to buy a piece, because this is what tofu looked like and tasted when I was a child. Go back at noon and mix tender tofu with shallots, white tofu and shallots. It is nutritious, refreshing, appetizing, delicious and visible, and the good taste of life is as simple as that.

The vegetable market, one end leads to a porridge and a meal, and the other end connects the spring scenery of the earth. The vegetable market is also a microcosm of the market society, where life is staged. Behind the food stalls, the hardships and happiness of hawkers are interpreted. The vegetable basket is full of flavor recipes on the dining table. I think a person who loves to visit the vegetable market must love a colorful life.
